Macks right! Peugeot 307 WRC had 4 speed box in the beginning of the season. Now they have 5 speed again like 206 did. Although, Rovanpera was racing with four gears almost the whole Cyprus rally. And Gronholm without a clutch. :cry:

Me too, i changed to Castrol Dot 4 after using 5.1 for over a year. Impressive, i have braking force again. :cool:

In my case we had to take out the whole suspension package, and then drilled two holes (each side) to strut tower tops. Im not sure is there enough room to put your hand under the tower (in my case there werent any)... it may depend what suspension you are running. Take the wheel out and try...

My additions to list (in brief) : Cam seals, oil pumps are sh*te (my mate has broken two of them, in short period!), crankshaft seals, auxilliary shaft (runs the oil pump in early F7 series engines) seal. Clutch seems to last forever though! :cool: But actually cars in general break all...

OK, got it... and no i dont want to see tractor revving 8k :D So basically im one on a safe side cos my motor revs about 7000, and there is lightened conrods (for example), forged pistons and ARP bolts everywhere...?

Heard this before but why?? Basically its the same construction...

Ok, thanks folks. I think ill go for the Castrol Response. Anything i should look after when changing from 5.1 to 4. Some kind of flush needed perhaps? Or is it ok to bleed all the old stuff away and pour new in? Ive had same fluid for a year now so it is no wonder that brakes are not performing...

Just interested what kind/brands of brake fluid people are using? About to change cos brakes are not performing very well now. I am using AP Racing four pots in front, standard in rear. Is there any point of using DOT 5.1? Like i do now... Cheers.

Ford imperial blue. I had Zetec-s Fiesta in my previous life and that colour caused lots of discussion with strangers at the parking lots. Great colour!
