Fixed it - the button just pulls out. I'd tried twisting it and all sorts but looks like you just click it out! Result!

LOL i knew it wouldn't go down too well on here... but I'm sure I'll have another RS in a couple of years. But currently living at home in 2 or 3 years time is not an option to me! Need to start saving for a house deposit unless I win the lottery! :(

Maybe its just me but every car I've bought 2nd hand has started going tits up at 70k miles. I don't fancy doing my 70 mile round commute in something that I don't know if its going to start in the morning. It's all swings and roundabouts I guess.

I've had it now for 4 weeks and tbh I don't miss the Cup... it only ever got driven too and from work. I did consider getting an older car but I might as well of kept the Cup if that were the case!

About 4 weeks ago I traded my 172 Cup in for a 1.2 Clio Dynamique. The Cup was costing me too much to run as things were going wrong with it left right and center. I'm also conscious that I should probably consider getting on the housing market! I nearly got a 05 182 with 11k miles on the clock...

There are so so so many RS clios about the NE but hardly any on CS.net. Bit of a shame because you'd be able to get a canny sized meet together. Keep an eye out for my in my black 57 plate dynamique... I live over near Hexham but am always about the Silverlink as I work there. I miss my Cup :(

Yep - as this man said! Its all down to the prep work imo... having forked out 35 quid on some Dodo I'll not be going anymore expensive than that! I'll probs move back down to a cheaper wax like Collinite/P21S once the Dodo has run out. IMO its all hype... although I have heard with the more...

The lavor fitment should work mate... I use my foam lance fine my with my Halfrauds PW!
