On a serious note, it's best to look into wheel and tyres combinations carefully. The wheels and tyres can ruin the way a car drives. All the best sorting it out.

because i got the 40s on the front then couldnt find another pair of 40s, either stick to 45s on the back or fork out loads more ££££

because i thought they were too big and they were nearly bald (in fact yet i have gone too small now but we live and learn)

Just sell the brand new tyres, then buy some cheap 55 profile wobblers until you can afford decent tyres in the correct fitment.

If I was you, i'd sell the 182 wheels (refurbed and good tyres) for £250-£300.

That will be enough to get you some 17'' Nervasport alloys with the correct tyres and they look brilliant on the meganes.

I used to have a Megane Dynamique it had the standard 16" wheels . I was going to get some 17" Nervasports fitted as they look fantastic much better than the 18" style fitted to the Megane sport 225 . A new baby came along and that was the end of that idea.

Leave the poor fella alone he made a doozy one i too laughed at but still i didnt have the tyres i wanted on mine for yonks! I know its easyer said than done but sell sell sell and buy some 17's with tyres n have done people will stop mocking.
