I’m Cris, I’m 38 years old and live in Portugal, two weeks ago I bought a Clio 16v with lots of small things to do🤦🏼 it was kind of a barn find. It has around 62000 miles on the clock and it was on a garage for 10 years.
My idea is to keep it as original as possible. They are not many in Portugal and I am sure it will be a classic in the future.
Till now I have done the following:
New belts and water pump ( it had still the original ones) 😤
Oil and all filters
New radiator
New battery
New brake pads
New interior center vents
Isolation of sunroof frame( was leaking)
Brakes fluid?!
It was missing two Taurus center caps ( now I have 7( also a barn find of 5)
Set of 4 new tires (it had 2006 tires)😂
The next steps are finding new bumpers(they are not broke, just all painted in car color),gearbox oil change and spark plugs.
My goal is as I said to certified the Clio in the summer as a pre-classic.✌🏻
