As above, my Virgin Media contract has ended. I was paying £43.50 a month for 200MB broadband (speed test shows actual speed of circa 150mb), full TV package (minus Sky Sports/Movies) and weekend phone.
They wanted £75 a month to continue with that package, and couldn't get it any cheaper than...
Does anyone have one of the above? And if so, is it worth upgrading to?
I am reluctant to chuck £50 or whatever it is at it if it isn't worth the outlay.
I want to upgrade the RAM on my MacBook Pro. It's a mid 2012 model (I think), with the CD drive. It doesn't have a retina display if that helps.
I currently have 4GB. I was looking at upgrading to 8GB.
Any recommendations on what to buy/where to buy from?
Morning all,
Looking to take out insurance on mine and the OH's new iPhones. Who do people use? I want it primarily for accidental damage, as the OH is forever dropping it/throwing it in the bath etc.
Cheers.
As above really, does anyone have one/could recommend one?
I'm after something smaller to carry around than my DSLR but don't want a standard point and click - I want to be able to tweak the various settings etc.
Afternoon gents,
Looking to buy a few GoPro Hero 4 Black Edition's - does anyone know of somewhere I could purchase them in "bulk"?
I had originally looked on Simply Electronics (circa £320 each) but put off by the various reviews of the website etc.
Cheers all.
Unfortunately I find myself using my 500D less and less. The size amongst other things is a factor.
I've been looking at something smaller, yet still has plenty of manual options for circa 200 Great British Pounds, and the Pentax Q has cropped up.
Has anyone had any experience of one, or...
As above, I am looking for a cheap soundbar/speaker setup for under £100.
My Grandad got a new TV and the sound is pretty poor.
I appreciate that for under £100 you won't get a great deal, but I've seen quite a few soundbars kicking around for £90ish that look decent enough.
Any advice etc...
Afternoon all,
Want to get fibre broadband - what's good and what's not?
I don't want to spend a fortune, the cheaper the better, but don't want some Mickey Mouse provider.
What's Talk Talk like? Horrendous CS I've heard...
I'm after a dedicated sat nav.
No phone app suggestions.
Under £100. Lifetime maps would be ideal.
I'm assuming it's going to be Garmin/TomTom but no idea which is better.
Ta in advance.
Need to get a couple for the 225.
I've been looking at Kumho Ecsta XT KU37 and Falken Ziex ZE914.
Does anyone have any experience of either on a Meg or any other car?
Afternoon gents.
On my 225 I have a problem with the climate control. Was parked up last night and knocked the cigarette lighter out of its hole. Popped it back in and the climate control completely shut off. Nothing on the display, can't get it to do anything.
Is this something relating to...
As above, I'm after a fairly standard Blu Ray player. I don't need one that can connect to the internet or insert memory cards etc in to, just one that will play a Blu Ray disc without issue.
Will a £50 player provide just as good an image on my TV as a £200 player? I literally have no clue...
Does anyone have the above phone?
I have seen it sim free for only £340, which seems a steal for such a well specced phone, but wanted opinions on what they are like day to day.
Coming from an S2 so can handle Android.
As above, my mum and dad are after a fairly simple point and shoot camera to take away with them.
Around the £50-60 is enough I would have thought to pick something up fairly decent, but that isn't a set budget.
Any suggestions would be awesome.
I was having a lazy Sunday yesterday, and decided to download some games from my old Steam account, the above being one of them.
It really is still a great game.
The memories came flooding back straight away!
Does anyone else still play this?
Just a quick one chaps.
My girlfriend is after a new phone, and has seen a few deals on 3 and also Orange/T-Mobile.
I haven't had any experience of either of these networks, so was after people's opinions? Good coverage, customer service etc?
As above, I received an email from Google saying that someone from the Ukraine had tried to log in on my Gmail account but they blocked it. I was then told that I would need to reset my password next time I logged in to my Gmail account which I have now done.
What I wanted to know was whether...
As above, what free programmes do people use to prevent and cure the above?
My girlfriend recently had a problem with a number of the above. All has now been sorted but I wanted to get some software for prevention preferably and something for if something slips through the net.
Cheers chaps.
Going to pick up an MP3 player for my mum for Xmas for when she does her exercise.
Doesn't need to hold many songs, just needs to be small and fairly simple to use.
iPod Shuffle is the best choice at the moment, unless anyone can suggest a differemt option that is good but perhaps cheaper?
On a recent trip to Vienna, I visited a local flea market where, amongst plenty of junk, a TON of vintage Canon, Olympus, Minolta etc cameras were being sold for €30+.
I didn't end up buying one, as I wasn't confident any of them.were actually working.
I've spent the best part of the day...
Does anyone have one of the latest iPod Nano's? Wanted to know if they were any good, as thinking about getting one for the OH so she can use it down the gym instead of her iPhone.
Is there a new model on the horizon, or is the current one relatively new?
Ta.
Just been having a browse of the web, and thought I'd look at the above.
Why are there so many different variations?! 10.1, 7, 8.9 etc. The list goes on.
Does anyone on here have one?
What's the best way of going about cleaning the roof lining in my car?
It's got a few dirty patches from a recent trip to the tip, and is just generally looking a bit untidy.
As above, I really want to start learning how to use Photoshop. I have the programme, but literally no clue how to use it.
How did other people learn to use it? And what would people say is the best way to learn how to use it?
