Simple Point And Shoot

As above, my mum and dad are after a fairly simple point and shoot camera to take away with them.

Around the £50-60 is enough I would have thought to pick something up fairly decent, but that isn't a set budget.

Any suggestions would be awesome.

I family member was in a similar situation a few months ago and I found this for them - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0074JZXU2/?tag=cliospnet01-21 - It’s good enough for a compact, and simple to use. From reviews I see the Canon Powershots are always a good option, there are a few within this budget too.

Nice one, thanks for that mate. Only thing that puts me off is the fact it uses AA batteries and not a rechargeable one. Looks spot on otherwise.

My mum got this for the cruise she went on, very simple to use, rechargeable battery and cheap enough to keep in a handbag getting ruined.

That looks good for what you want, generally the Canon powershots are always a good option from what I've seen.
