Used AF Lavish last weekend and seemed to give good results. However, car was only a week old, had been coated by Audi and also used the Turtle Wax ceramic wash so not surprising. Water beading and running off really well when it rained but it didn't give a particularly deep or glossy finish...
The wheels are cool but too small. I thought they were low profile tyres until I zoomed in and realized you'd need truck tyres to fill those arches. Car is ace, but original wheels for me.
But that must make it more crappy than people think.
Personally I loved the f40 in the pics but now I know everyone with a supercar has that wrap its not the same. But its still better looking than standard.
Yes - some owners like the idea as it allows you to get in and out when in tight parking spaces (with having the window down and putting it up when you are out) but the weight it adds doesn't really fit with the ethos of the car so not caught on in UK.
182 with stripes parked on drive on A513 before roadworks. Had sticker on rear window. Anyone?
Also I pass a blue 172 on opposite side of road (again A513) as I'm leaving and your heading towards Armitage every day at approx 8.00am.
Its all the hoodie wearing gangs forcing young peoples premiums up!
And the increasing number of uninsured drivers forcing everyones up.
TBH I've waited for my drop at 5yrs NCB and then at 25 but neither happened. The only way you get good quotes now is reaching 35. (Therefore you have learnt...
I thought (but could be wrong) if you change down to early i.e. wheel speed gonna take engine speed past gearing ratio then it locks the driving wheels anyway. Can't remember what its called.
Exactly!!!
They did a test in the Times a whiles back - turned off all driving aids in a car and got a selection of the population to try and drive it simulated hazards. The only one that could was the 17 yo just passed his test and never had a car with ABS etc. Conclusion was as soon as you...
Sods law dictates you will scuff your new wheels in a matter of months. Exactly what happened to me... Never scuffed a wheel in 6yrs of driving then when I had mine re-done scuffed two in weeks and gf scuffed a third shortly after!
Cheers all. Seems its the coils which have gone (well one anywho). Anyone know how much this will cost from the stealers and if my bro's harmony extended warranty will cover it?
As above, was running fine, then parked up for couple of hours and now idles really lumpy (the whole block shaking really badly) and he says its got no power when changing from first to second. Revs fine above idle but doesn't clear up when warm.
Also gases from exhaust have noticeable gap in...
I do 25K min a year (not a travelling salesman tho)! Answer is to buy low for year milage cars and sell when around average. Average is about 12K a yr now I think.
I managed a $220,000 fine on Friday. Had a mate round after the pub and played a bit, started with approx $820,000 and when played on Sat only had $20,000 left due to the fines! Do not drink and drive!!!
With regards the Miltek exhaust - the article in EVO states that the 197 exhaust was deliberately designed to follow diffuser otherwise the diffuser doesn't work.
Add that to no boot spoiler and you may have a very loose rear end!
