Just my car on the road after a long period of it standing - 172 cup.
Its had a brand new battery- fully charged, problem is when trying to start its only turning over 4 or 5 cranks then cutting dead, got a feeling it might be an imobilzer issue.
Any other ideas? Is there a way I can...
Thinking of buying some aftermarket wheels, I need to know what offsets are on 172 cup. I've noticed on previous threads that members stated that they are ET37, I've also been in touch with K-tec, but they claim that they are ET42??
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks

Getting ready for a sparg plug change and I need to take the inlet manifold off, does anyone know the part numbers for gaskets if they are needed?
Any help much appreciated.

Im looking to uprate my suspension, I want to lower it 30mm, but dont wa
nt the suspension to be really hard, I want to be able to feel a little ride comfort even though it is lowered.
I have used Koni Suspension on all my other cars in the past and been fairly pleased with the outcome...
I know, ill bet my bottom dollar its the one at the back of the dash.
Ive had the scuttle panel off and all I can see is the Siren, which looks about 75mm sq, so I cant really see how the rest of the unit is built into the siren, which some people are saying.
Bass will shake the whole of the car, doesnt matter where it is, same as going over speedbumps and pot holes.
Ive always used this method in every car, sub and amp ive owned, never had any problems in that aspect.
Seems like a bit of a secret to me Edde.
Today ive had the top of my dash out, its not under the airbag, and ive also had my cnetre console out, its not behind there neither. The wires seem to be heading behind the heater matrix, but it cant be behind there.
i never said it didnt matter. I said it was a common trait.
i didnt say you should sit back and except it. I would want i fixed too.
Yeah sorry dude, that came out a bit harsh, but you catch my drift.

At the moment, with the alarm problems, running a bit rough from cold and needing a s**t load of cash spending on it. about 5/10.
But hey, I knew what I was getting onto when I bought it. ;)
Ahhhhhhh, promoting a business with your car makes all the difference to the discussion.
I have attended many a car shows for many a different car, business/ pleasure is certainly a different kettle of fish my friend.
Primarily it protects from stone chips, like you said, but what i dont get is what else adds to "the Theme" it doesnt suit mate, no matter what look your going for.
Clear back lights has a massive following, but it still doesnt make it right. :S
Keep your car origional as much as...
Ask yourself this question, why does it get peoples attention?
A) Because it looks origional, striking and well kept?
B) Because it looks odd, cheap and doesnt match the cars features?
I dont understand what you mean by theme.
You like it because it pisses people off but you dont care what people think?, contradicting yourself there to say the least matey.
If you want to piss people off more and make your car look s**t, get yourself some back clear lights to go with it, that generally works
The whole of your car...
Ive got an Alpine amp screwed to the side of my Alpine sub box, its in the far left of the boot N/S, so the amp is pretty covered from the rear inner wing, ive had no heat problems etc so far, the quality of your amp may make all the difference to that though.
Ive fastened my sub box in...
No offence mate, but it seems to me that a lot of people on here have the same attitude, i.e. common problems like that dont matter, just because its common doesnt mean its ok to leave.
It run fine upto a week ago, there must be some sort of problem, however small. They dont come off the...

Running rough from cold, I think it will be the spark plugs, if so, having a quick look at the engine, im gonna need new gaskets down there. Anyone got part numbers for these?
Any one got any experience in running rough from cold?
Thanks in advance.
Just screw it to the side of your sub box.
Ive recently installed a full Alpine system including Sub & Amp without drilling a single hole into the car, with it all securely fastened in. So if you want any help with that, let me know.
Really? I thought it was? especially seen as there are so many members on here dealing with the same problems on regular occasions, asking where where it is located and no one really seemed to know.

Yeah, I didnt read your thread till i had posted mine, fantastic advice mate, thank you very much. Ive been waiting for god knows how long for someone to finally tell me where I could get to the fuse.
Like I replied to your thread, im looking for a long term solution to my problem, i want...
172 cup mate.
My central locking is fine, my car is either alarming itself permanently or disarming itself permanently.
Im looking for the fuse to replace it, and hopefully sort out my problem, though I have to admit, im going to have to be pesimistic and I think im looking at a new alarm...
