Imobilizer Issue - Please help!

Just my car on the road after a long period of it standing - 172 cup.

Its had a brand new battery- fully charged, problem is when trying to start its only turning over 4 or 5 cranks then cutting dead, got a feeling it might be an imobilzer issue.

Any other ideas? Is there a way I can re-set the imobilizer.

Please help, I need to take it in for its MOT in the morning and I can't get it moving!

Lock and then unlock?
With an immolbiliser it normally just wont start running, would just keep cranking.

clio's immobiliser wont even let you crank the engine.

Flashing!

if its flashing quicker than normal when you turn the key, then id say its 99% gonna be the immobiliser not picking up the signal from the key. I had the exact same problem and a new key sorted it.

It should stay on for a few seconds, then go out. If it's flashing, it's usual an earth problem. If it stays on permanent, you need to reset it.
