Following advice on here, I tried my best to get a Yozza. However just like past experience with this company, it's almost impossible to buy anything. I ordered online on the peculiar website that doesn't seem to order anything, then waited as instructed for a phone call which never came. Phoned...
They are both excellent cars. I've driven the 197 off and on the track on a few occasions. I've only had the 200 round a track once, but it was immediately apparent that it's more than an extra 3bhp and a styling change. Whatever they've done, it seems to handle and drive even better than the...
I've had my 182 since new, 5 1/2 years now. Apart from an aftermarket exhaust that was purchased due to the original one rotting, it's pretty well standard. I've spent my money on trackdays, and more importantly tuition at trackdays. It's hilarious going past an M3 in your budget family french...
Rolling diameter of the wheel will be around 10mm less on a 205/45, so this will affect the accuracy of the speedo. Lower profile tyre might "tramline" a little more but really depends on the tyre. A wider tyre won't mean more rubber in contact with the road necessarily. If the tyres are good...
The main reason is unsprung weight. Reducing weight on suspension components improves handling. I read somewhere that 1Kg saved on suspension = 5Kg saved on the chassis. Moving from a 16" wheel to a light weight 15" saves you 25Kg or more, which is a significant saving. 16" wheels on a Clio are...
Thanks dude, I just want to make sure before I part with a sizeable chunk of money. I'll maybe pick up the phone and speak to Fred.....unless he wants to comment here ;)
I've got a largely standard 182 that I use for track days and the odd b-road blast. It's also used to commute when my old diesel barge is broken. In the new year I want to get a few things fitted for next season. My shopping list is as follows:
Second hand H&R's (already purchased, require...

Which particular GSF was it? Can we get our CS discount?
I've got a 182 Cup now which I've tracked a lot, and also driven 197 and 200 on the track. The 197 and 200 are far more capable, and also more fun in my opinion. I've done a few days at Cadwell, and when I jumped out of my 182 and into the 200 for the first time, I was going quicker than I'd...
I also notice that you have a small and large washer. I got 2 of the larger washers and I ended up having to angle grind a couple of mill off the top one as it didn't fit correctly. I wonder if the smaller one is a revised version?
Fred, how hard are these to DIY rebuild? I've rebuilt a Peugeot BE3 box and that was straight forward enough, are these similar? Presumably this would be caused by a worn synchro, in which case, it shouldn't cost that much to fix for the DIY'er?
