Oops, lad down the road from me did that last week in a Punto - although in his case it buckled all the front edge of the roof as well, was a right mess.

Yea the aero catches creased the roof.

Had the pleasure of helping to remove a seized fiesta tdci injector today. Only had an hr and basic tools which did not really get it going. Inlet off tomorrow to get heavy duty on it ?

The alarm started beeping constantly so I disconnected the battery. Then after much googling I found a thread on here saying to adjust the height of the boot latch. This would make sense because the door open symbol has been appearing on the dash. Hopefully that has sorted it.

Does anyone know if these holes should have plastic things in them like the other one? Also do they serve a purpose?

Don't adjust that bit.

It's the metal hook near the bumper that you undo and slide in or out.

That is proper rubbish. Gutted for you. The pre bonnet pictures look great. I once had this happen on a RS Turbo I owned. I am sure you will sort it. Still gutting though.

Going into work today to repair the roof and fit the roof scoop before it gets painted. I'll get some pictures later

Excellent progress. You don't hang about. I am assuming you work in a body shop, which is pretty handy!

New front discs, pads, wear sensors & retaining pins, front drop links.

Tomorrow will be air con condensers & water pump... If I can be arsed to tackle *that* 10mm bolt on the water pump.

Happens more often than you think with pins, I bet every race weekend there's a bonnet or two goes up from missing or loose pins. Mind in our sport that usually just means they jump on the bonnet until a pin goes in, kick the window out and put some goggles on.

I decided on Saturday to do my front and rear, discs and pads and uprated evol style dog bone..

3.5 hours later all I got done was the front discs and pads and the dogbone thanks to one of the NS sliders welding itself in the carrier. Luckily it happened at work so one of the techs drilled the slider out and I replaced it with one i removed from a Scenic at a local scrappy, worked very well!! and the brakes are spot on.

The dogbone next, got that changed that in under 5mins and i'm really happy with the difference it's made, not sure why they get the hate to be honest i'm a 36 year old man and I don't think the vibrations or anything aren't that bad.

So if anyone reading this has a pair of front ph2 172 caliper carriers in good condition (figured i'd replace both and fit new sliders) close to Portsmouth, give me a shout ?

The bonnet on my titanium silver 182 was rusting badly, so I found one on eBay but couldn’t find the right colour. In the end, I had to settle for a white one. I fitted it and although it wasn’t a terrible as I’d imagined, I couldn’t leave it like that. Anyway, it’s been in today to get wrapped in Avery Dennison Carbon Fiber black.
