Excellent racing Andrew, car looks to be going very well.

What do you think of Combe? Its one of my fav circuits.
Really liked it. A good fast circuit. Looking forward to Snetterton now, just wish I could do Oulton! Bloody children's birthdays!

We only had one day that is was needed, which was the Autumn trophy in November. And managed then by just turning the roof vents on to the screen.

I had an chat about this car when I went to pick up some Turinis for @fairm010 from your mate Ian in Huddersfield. He works for Yorkshire windows? He's doing some gearbox work on my car in the near future.

Car looks excellent.

I have a heated screen in mine, I have only needed it once, but it was so handy when I did. Instantly cleared the screen, and kept it clear! It's just a bit expensive if you have to replace it! I would definitely recommend getting one if you have removed the factory blower.

Either way you are in safe hands with Russ, I know he will do a good job for you.

Thanks. I think it'll be my mechanic Ian. He did mention a fellow Clio guy wanted some work done.

I need a new screen, so will do that. I could do with a good screen man in Wakefield, as I've lost the details of the chap I used before.

I'll also message Russ about putting a wire in for it :)

Finally got the car wheel aligned and corner set up.

I've had a set of hub stands made, to save us having to take the wheels on and off all the time to change the Geo.

It worked really well, although once we put the wheels on, it changed it slightly. To be fair though, most of the change was within the tyre pressure.

I actually found it quite easy, as all I had to do was sit in the car, while @ant_smeggy did all the hard work :)

It weighed in at 965kg, with me in it, which I'm really happy with.

Other jobs I've done, is change the tank and fuel system completely.

Not the best pictures.

I've also had the car fully re wired by Russ, which has really tidied it up.

So the car is all loaded up now, ready for Silverstone on Monday. Can't wait to get out in it again, it seems an age since I was last out.

A great day at Silvestone today. Few little issues, but nothing we can't sort before next track day.

Firstly, a learning issue. I've replaced the gear box with a newly reconditioned one, as my third gear was causing a problem. But what I neglected to do, was swop the Diff over! It never entered my head!

We also had a warped front disk, which was giving us dreadful vibration.

Anyway, it'll all get sorted.

The car sounds amazing though :)

Looks good too, next to Tony new Burp.

Not me driving, but good to see the car going around Silverstone.

The point where it spins, is due to a power issue. It cut out completely a couple of times.

Looking forward to today. First time around Oulton since I passed my test here. Think we have got everything sorted for today. We got the correct gearbox re conditioned now and remembered the LSD this time! Changed the disk, to get rid of the warp and fitted a lightened flywheel :)

We also fitted a new front grill, as the old one wasn't really holding everything together, with the amount that had been chopped out of it!
