Slammed T5 Transporter

Had a small session on our kids transporter today. I really love this van! Lowered on gaz coilovers and on 19 inch banded steels.

Bit of a bump, been to look at a t5 the other day, going for another viewing on Sunday, any more info on them banded steels? Are they bmw x5 spare wheels banded by any chance?

s**t the bed! Been having a look around, 17” standard steelies are pretty cheap and look well banded, awesome looking van that!

from my point of view, our galaxy is getting a bit shagged, and we need a bigger car, the galaxy is great but we soon fill it, and the huge roof box, not to mention bikes. so a t5 ( caravelle ) for us, fits the bill, seats 7 ( which we sometimes do ) has loads of room, seats are movable, can be removed also, and it has potential to look decent, can't really think of an alternative tbh.

but yeah there a f**king rip off!

is it a standard van? has it been reliable? i must admit i love driving my transit van, going for a second viewing tomorrow on a 2011 2.0 dsg caravelle, as long as the mrs likes it and i can knock a fair wedge off, I'll be leaving a deposit.

Mines a panel van converted to a kombi - 3 up front and 3 behind but putting a bed in soon and leisure battery. I've got a highline model. Only owned it since November last year but I've not had any issues so far....

very nearly went for a very nice kombi near me, but decided we really needed a caravelle for the kids, they vary so much its hard to decide on a particular van lol.
