not many gt pics though

  Scirocco GT 2.0
I bet it has silly side lights that are on all the time too, like most new european cars including the new Megane.

I wonder if those rear lights will fit a Mk3 ph1?

Oh yeah,

They are quite like the custom ones you tried on ur mk3 but they didn't fit well did they?

Maybe there are others on the market...

Seeing those French dealership pictures has put me off even more. The Fiesta, albeit a new model and not facelift is a million miles in front of the Clio 3 phase 2 in terms of styling.

what were they thinking with the bumper to headlight line???? if you can retro fit a 197 front end on a 200 ill have one

That front reminds me of the boy-racers trying to make the MK4 Escort look like an Escort Cosworth by fitting the wide arch kit but no spacers on the hubs.

Since 2000, the successive versions of Clio Renaultsport have led to it to become the best-selling hot hatch of its class, with worldwide sales totalling more than 70,000 cars.

Now, at the Geneva Motor Show, Renault unveils the latest version, Clio Renaultsport 200.

Featuring a new look for 2009, new equipment and a wide choice of personalisation, the Clio Renaultsport 200 will continue be the hot hatch by which others are judged.

Outside, you’ll instantly spot new alloy wheels. The new, more aggressive front end incorporates an F1-type aerodynamic splitter to improve the aerodynamic performance. At the rear, the twin exhausts are made more visible within the new rear diffuser. The Renault i.d. range of personalisation has been increased with a choice of Gloss Black or Anthracite available for the centre section of the front bumper, front splitter, door mirrors and rear diffuser.

Three new colours are available including Mercury, the return of the pearlescent Liquid Yellow and a brand new colour that’ll certainly stand out from the crowd, Alien Green.

Inside the perforated leather steering wheel features visible stitching and a yellow centre-point marker. The rev-counter is now in yellow and includes an audible and visible Formula 1-style gearshift indicator to help optimise gear changes.

Renault i.d. personalisation extends to customers having a choice of Mercury, Yellow or Anthracite for the seat belts and fascia mouldings. Customers can also choose Anthracite or Yellow highlights for the seats.

The Clio Renaultsport’s naturally aspirated 2.0 litre engine with variable valve timing has been revised to provide an increase of 3hp and yet a reduction in CO2 and a boost to fuel economy. The first, second and third gear ratios have all been shortened.

The standard suspension settings for the Clio Renaultsport 200 have been revised to improve the ride comfort. The Cup chassis is now stiffer and now has a 7.5% quicker steering rack to provide an even faster turn-in.

New equipment is available, including the Renault Integrated TomTom, plus a new ‘Sound Pack’ option offering improved audio quality and greater connectivity.

The Clio Renaultsport 200 Cup and Clio Renaultsport 200 go on sale in May.

Renaultsport forum dude ;)

Anyway, back to my rant

I'm not normally one to hate every new model released, then slowly warm to it. From the 197 concept pics, i've loved it. I cant help think they looked over a zee Peugeots and copied their front gappy bumpers..... which are also gash.

Now this, i like the look of (if to be believed MK4 Clio)

the sport tourer is random as hell... and the gt... i fail to see the point in both.

why launch a poor attempt at a "sporty" model when clearly the RS series is doing incredibly well... the development that went into that pointless waste of market gap filling could of gone to breaching the 200bhp mark. 3bhp seems pointless.. just an attempt to do a one up on honda?

and back on the sport tourer... words still fail me as to why its needed. megane for that! but then again as gaz said, what with them seeming to copy the pugs bumpers maybe theyre doing the same with the range altogether like the 206sw... <- fail car.

i agree with the ugly coments but i think their is a market for the gt in these times not eveyone can afford or want that kind of car
id consider it if the claims are ture as it seems to fit the things im looking for in my next car
