Hello
I am new to Cliosport. The reason? Well, I am about to start rallying again after a few years lay off (13!) and I have been looking at suitable cars for club rallying. I have rallied a Mk2 Escort, Opel Manta, Golf Gti. Talbot Samba, XR2, BMW 318 in the past and although I would like a Mk2 Costs are prohibitive! So I looked at what was available now. I thought about an Evo and a SCOOBY but every man and their dog pedals one of those (usually without much ability) So I decided I like front wheel drive nd what is out there now? I thought about a 206 but just couldn't get excited about them. So.....I decided on a Clio 172 or 182. It seems like there isn't too much between the two. I figured that 220 bhp is about the most a fwd can take without major/expensive mods so a clio would allow simple mods and lots of bhp, What I would like to know is.....
Keep up the good work
Neil

- What Crown wheel and pinion ratio to use? (looking for 120mph)
- Where do I get it from?
- Who supplies sump guards etc?
- Does any one have a build manual?
Keep up the good work
