My ordinary Clio 172

Hey there!

(I hope that's the correct board to introduce myself and my car.)

My Name is Thomas, I'm 22 years of Age and I'm from Austria.

2 Months ago I bought a very nice 172!
That's my third Clio,... I've driven the 1.2 16V and the 1.6 16V.

The 1.6 16V is at the moment also owned by myself ... that's my car for winter

Thechnical Data
Initial Reg 08/2001
155.000 Km (96.000 Miles)
No ESP
No GRA (Cruise Control)
No Cup pack

Some units are nearly worn (Brakes, Tyres, steering wheel) but that's not the problem.
I Would like to upgrade the car with cruise control (I've also upgradet my 1.6) when I change the steering wheel.

I don't think that I will change a lot of things on this car, but the one or other discret (or useful) change would be great.

- I don't linke this Remus exhaust, because it looks awesome.
=> I like the Supersprint Exhaust (Phase 3 look)

- The tyres are nearly worn
=> OZ Ultraleggera 17"

- Brakes are nearly worn
=> The 300mm if from K-Tec would be nice

Buying a 172 (for me at least) has made me an addict. An addict of spending good money on something that that I never thought I'd really enjoy.

It's given me back enthuiasm in motoring that for me has been lacking for over 20 years

I hope you enjoy owning and driving your 172 as much as I do.

Yeah, that car is really great.

... really great because if you don't drive the car for a few days - it's a very great feeling if you jump in the car and drive around. It makes me smile

The "WU" in my licence number menans "Wien-Umgebung" ... something like "Around Vienna"

Yeah, that's right!
I was looking for this car over three months,... I saw all! Damaged, but low mileage, cars with accidental damage. That was really depressing. After a few day I given up searching for a 172 i found that car

News!

I got the Supersprint dual exhaust System decat! :lolup:
The only one problem is, that the color isn't 100% the same, that sucks
In every case I like to claim on the right color.

Atm I'm driving with winter tyres, that's good because the summer tyres are completely clean :approve:
Next Year I'm planning OZs and a set of H+R

EDIT: Oh, I've forgotten the Sondfile. Here it is. (I'ts only muffler, the central silencer is arriving next week!)

really nice 172 looks nice standard, i would just get rid of the exhaust you have on it now and go for a stealth one
