Yea I wasnt sure about them when I first got them but they are growing on me! Coillies would make the difference but they are expensive for my bolt spacing, I want the full SPAX coilover ones!

Car looks good but needs to be lower to set it off. Not a fan of the wheels though, sorry :(

Thanks guys! I think Coillies would make the wheels look better but i just cant afford the 800/900 quid just now!

I wish my exaust poked out a bit more too! Also need to spray the plastics as the rear bumper strip looks crap!

not keen on the rims, turinis would look spot on ;)

car looks clean and pretty sure those reclining sparcos are the ones I have in my mk1, pretty comfy seats but not particularly good at holding me in place!lol!

I would love some anthracite turinis if someone wants to swap ;) hehe

They are pretty comfy and I dont find them too bad at keeping me in place, managed to stay in the seat around the ring!

Well... finally got some news! Bought myself some brand new Spax RSX's which got delivered today. Wasted no time and got them on.

Currently lowest at the front and rear, but needs raised slightly at the front as its rubbing on the arch liner. It looks far better on these wheels than it did before so im happy!

Anyways here are some before and after pictures, enjoy!

Cheers lads. Pretty happy with how it looks. Cant wait to get it back on the road and see how it drives.

James, spacers are on the list but wanting Whiteline ARB and solid top mounts first ;) Also wanting to spray the plastics as they are all looking a bit grey and sh*t!

Got my Pure Motorsport solid top mounts on! Got some 10mm -1 degree rear spacers coming soon, also need to get some 25mm from spacers for the front as im looking to run about -2 degrees camber. Cant wait to get it back on the road and the tracking done near the end of February!

Ive got some 10mm -1 degree camber spacers coming soon and planning on getting some 20mm front spacers.

Haven't really had a chance to give the car a proper blast yet due to the snow but planning on doing a few track days around Knockhill this year which im looking forward to!

Well I got my rear spacers on eventually - the hub to beam bolts were a total pain in the d*ck to remove, had to grind the two smaller ones off!

For my 21st I got a private reg from my parents which I really like. My surname is McVicar and the plate reads V7 MCV.

Went for a blast with Heez down some country roads the other week and fell back in love with the car again as it had been a few months since I had driven it so here are a few pictures from our day out in the Borders!

Thanks for looking :)

Very nice mate :) the rear wheels sit perfectly with the spacers now.

May have missed it but what size are the wheels? Fill the arches well.

One last thing as well, you know the spax rsr rear dampers, can you tell any difference with that little adjuster for ride comfort at the bottom?

They do sit good apart from they occasionally rub!

16" wheels mate.

To be honest I've not had a play with them yet. Set front and rear to the middle and it's very nice to drive like it is! Might have a play when the snow is gone!

Ah okay, just asking because I've got them on mine too. Apparently mine are set in the middle as well but haven't had a chance to adjust them.

I've got a set of 16mm spacers but I think they'll be too wide really.

Well ive made some changes. Il let the pics do the talking!

Dirty clio:

Bought some Sabelt 6 point harnesses. Before people say, I know they are not ideal how they are just now however, roll cage and proper seats will be coming soon!

Also spent some time playing with my exhaust. It sits more central and higher than before, still whistles at 3k+ RPM though!

This has turned into more of a project thread but not to worry!

I finally got around to getting my cage powdercoated that I bought from a member on here a few months ago. It looks good and i'm happy with it although its darker than I was hoping (was hoping for a dark grey colour). It has a nice silvery reflection to it so I think it looks alright
