So it's been knocking it's titts off lately with one thing or another broken gearbox mount then managed to sort out the noise from my exhaust on my arb

a32fcf251606e760efb7fff78d98f1dc.jpg

and still knock knock after I go over a couple of bumps and today after a couple of hours funnily found the culprit

The pin was moving up and down and you can just make out the score on the bolt so got a new one and went for a little test drive and thank god it feels nice and no noise

Finished cleaning it the other day to

I've got some forge hoses that are coming to clean up the bay so when they do I'll get some paint and give the whole bay a nice tidy and picture

My hose fitting was going so well got the rad out everything was going good

Whilst everything was out the way I decided to check my pms air-con delete kit as it was looking a bit bent and took it apart and it was snapped

No pictures of this as I was annoyed and just kept putting the rest of the hose kit on

So went online to get the new pms bracket and found they are away until the new year but not to worry I have just fitted my new diff seal and have also orderd the mass damper kit for my shifter kit but again for the 100000000000000 time this year it will sit like this for a couple more days

right went on a nice big drive today and the car felt great with the new pms damper and decided to give it a clean and another chance to use the camera

I can't help but look at your wheels and think that they'd look awesome in fully green!

Nice car buddy, I like what you've done to it. I'm looking at the same seats/harnesses for mine, when I get one. Where did you buy them from?

Yeah there my Winter wheels so I might do a different colour next time and will do the whole wheel lol the seats I actually got 2nd hand but where brand new and you can get them off the corbeau web sight they come with runners and side mounts for 170 I think then harnesses again eBay I was after some for a while and they came up so snatched them

Right well then this has suddenly got exciting i am about to book my first trackday of the year Donington on the 18th of April so ive got 6 weeks and a list of things to do changing my tyres being one of them

  Nimbus Grey 197
After cutting myself I finally have my tyres on so these will be going on over the next few weeks when I get the car ready for mot and the trsckday in April

so looking into Donington Park on the 18th of April I thought my exhaust might become a bit of an issue so I set about to looking for a suitable DB killer just in case I needed one scourd the internet and only found one which was 00.04mm to big for the hole however Jetex is close and they have this contraption..

IMAG1404.jpg

This fits perfectly in the whole I have not modified it at all all I am looking to get a nut welded on one of the wholes the drill a whole in my exhaust which will then bolt it in place and the difference from just being on idle and keeping it in place is quite large

  Nimbus Grey 197
right all booked into Donington now and just need to finish my baffle i have been working on the car checking it over for the dreaded MOT so will see how it goes i have raised it up and made it look like a monster truck but hey thats what coilovers are for right few pics of getting it sorted at least i now have my federals on

not that much has happened to the car but slight update i decided to put my old supersprint stealth back on as i knew this would pass noise at FCS and it only just did at 99db i have got some pictures of the show and some other bits however i don't have them to hand but here is the video

of the track time which i loved and the car as normal loved it to i have however just raised up the back slightly and i think now it feels much better..

however after a long drive yesterday i think i am getting old and am thinking about getting the PMS exhaust so i don't have to worry about noise and to make it a better drive

knew i recognised this from somewhere! i was in the flame red 172 on track at the same time as you, was pooing it as was my first ever time on track didnt realise i was going so slow compared to the other clios haha
