my first clio P2 iceberg 172

Which reminds me I cleaned them yesterday whilst messing around

Right so did some digging and found this

However this wasn't the cause of my abs light it was a duff sensor on the front so after a new sensor finally sorted

Then over the past week managed to get these just waiting to receive them

So the little Clio is getting a good going over when all the parts come

Right asp had a test fit with the washer blanks today

Then got a nice surprise when was told I can go and collect these

So just need to paint the washer jets the fit the rsrs

Well over the weekend fitted my rear coilovers and I am now back in the beast and thus stats the progress of stripping my 182

Right fitted the coilovers and love them well tbf haven't had a good try with them yet however they feel good and over the past few weeks been doing little bits like

Fitting the tyres haven't done all yet but getting there also painted my grille black again it looks glossy on the pics but it's mat

Also did the washer blanks

And got a list of bits I need to do over the next few weeks

Ah lists lol a couple I will do over the next few days my rear brake seems to be playing up so need to look into that and once the engine is out of the 182 I can get my aircon kit off it and put it on the 172

Right so have had to put a few bits on hold but have put my grille and badge back in and on

Right so over the weekend the car decided it didn't want to go backwards any more so having to take the box out again 3rd time lucky... Whalts its apart I'm fitting my ac delete and fitted the cup blanks

Slam panel off
Aircon ungassed
Drivers brake removed
Drivers driveshaft out
Drivers sub frame bolts out
Oil removed from box

Tomorrow I want to
Remove passengers side
Brakes
Suspension strut and hub
Drive shaft
Subframe
And if I have time remove the water and rads so I can remove ac rad

I have the same splitter but didnt bother fitting it as there are some screws under the bumper already? So I assumed it wouldnt fit on tight?

right well after the winds last night I have decided to use my rs tuner properly and have brought the map for it so over the weekend I will see what happens with this

Omg anybody thinking to get the rs tuner map done do it. Its awesome and a very nice difference

So over the weekend went to one of the meets in Stratford here's a pic

And there was a tasty ph1 there and I got cage envy so have kinda ordered one will be here next week hopefully

As said already. Looks awesome.

What you doing regards to paint? Im thinking maybe hammerite hammered black if I get one as its spray and forget and sort of self primers and lacquers itself.

I can imagine doing it with cans is completely possible but would be a royal ball ache doing the lacquer and getting a pro is just a waste of money imo.

I'm going to be canning it bright blue and it will be over the next few days so watch this space

Also went and picked something else up as I figured o need to take the seats out to fit the cage so when there out ikl fit these

Let us know how you get on with fitting them and whether you use the sliders or not and how supportive they are Im debating on them, sparco sprints or bimarco futuras
