Hello this is my first car I got off a lad in college for £80 because it needed a new front strut in the sale got 5 new wings in total a whole new front bumper and two new headlights because the ones on the car where faded so what ever happens I can not loose money on the car.

so this is the car the alloys will be for sale two new tyres two scrap plans are to colour code the plastic bits and lower the car (anyone recommend coilovers?) on ats cups with a sport interior

first job was to put the better wing on and take the front bumper off for painting

these are better photos for the wheels if anyones interested and buying them as they are not my style

also I havnt passed my test yet because I havnt been 17 long so its going to be a slow project on a budget any comments welcome

I passed my theory test the other day so i will be booking my driving test on monday so i need to pull my finger out and get the car sorted also does anyone know why my photos dont work?

picked up sport interior last week so going to fit it very soon (pics to follow) I am also swapping the horrid wheels for a set of standard clio alloy and are going to paint them anthracite grey I have also changed the stut which was a nightmare trying to get off. I have got my driving test booked so need to get this mot'd and taxed.

*** UPDATE ***

I managed to fit my sport interior today and its soooo much better than the normal 1.2 seats had a bit of trouble removing a nut but a little heat and it came off and the rest fit like a glove with ease however I have not fitted the front door cards because I need to get electric windows first.

what kind of money the interiors go for so I know if I over spent on them or not cheers

Nice! Interiors can go from anywhere between 50-150+ depending on condition, delivery etc! Most are just over the hundred mark!

I have been offered swaps for standard 5 spokes with 4 brand new tyres so I am going to see them sunday, I am unsure what colour to paint them I thinking anthracite grey. any suggestions?

Your plans sound good, definitely get some more subtle alloys in my opinion though. To upload the photos properly you need to copy and paste the image code, you can get to it by clicking the little options button in the top right corner of the picture and going onto 'get links'.

Anthracite always looks good, fact.

This. I so wish id left mine with just a few things done. Bought a full 172 kit which needs painted and know I'm for upgrading next year. Standard alloys and 60mm spring and it'll look the part. Maybe some ph2 rear lights aswel.

I had rokkor coilovers on my 1.2. Not to expensive and wasn't to bad a quality. Iirc I paid 195 posted from Germany. Subtle Mods are always the best too.

They're not bsd, I have them on mine, 250 posted I think, they can be a little rough over bumps, but can't complain for the price

sold them wheels for the price I paid for the whole car with the wheels so the car owes me nothing now, sweet. I am taking the car to college so I can do some pre mot checks and I will service the car at the same time as for new wheels I fancy some 5 spoke normal clio alloys for winter then a set of turbines (does anyone know what money they go for?)

I'm not sure how much turbines go for I think they would be upwards from £300 for a good set without tyres thou. Don't quote me on that thou!! Get the ph2 dynamique alloys as they are slightly different to the other standard alloys. They are pretty much 15" 172 alloys.

got the car ready for its pre mot on Wednesday I hope it doesn't need too much work doing to it but I need to remember that the car stood for a year before I got my hands on it

result car didn't show up any surprises expect the load sensor valve?(I think that's what is called) on the back brakes so car will be getting moted taxed and insure early January, I cant wait to be let loose on the roads

congrats! My rear brake-bias valve was supposedly 'sezied' as well, cleaned it up, a bit of grease and a few pulls on it to make sure it operated and moved freely. Done!
