Forge's Clio 182FF RB

It's nice to keep a record of a car, So i'll be picking up shortly a RB 182 FF, glad I found this site a wealth of knowledge here learnt plenty already, so thanks for that.

Got a few plans mainly keeping OE not looking to add BHP or lowering just keep fairly standard and driving nicely. It's to be used for local trips, the station and some track work.

Plans in mind......

Retrim steering wheel
New mats
Swap back to standard wheels like the design and maybe use those that come with it for track and sort tyres, it comes with what's in the picture and standard cup wheels.
Belts and Dephaser - booked
Gearbox Oil change - booked
K&N filter
Change mounts as and when needed
Touch in a couple of bits of paint.
Some led bulbs as needed
Clean temp sensor fan

More pictures once collected.

  RB 182
Looks very tidy :)

I'm not a fan of black wheels against RB so I think putting the standard wheels back on will be a nice improvement.

As above, looks a tidy example that!

Can't believe how high they are standard lol

Agree, RB looks nice IMHO with white wheel but the cleaning burden is just too much :) something to admire on some else's car

  need BRAKES? PM me
Looks nice and clean that :approve:

Bonus it comes with two sets of alloys

If you wanted to drop down to 15inch wheels for track work (cheaper tyres and I preferred the handling on the smaller wheels) you wouldn't have any bother shifting those alloys on

Picked up RB today, all good drove back 70 odd miles 40mpg which was nice, first modification done new mats and an air freshener, few little bits to do want to get the cup wheels back on as prefer them to the black wheels and get the tyres sorted.

Few pic up pictures.

Drive nicely engine smooth and pulls nice, also seems pretty rattle free.

  Clio 172 Cup
The red brake calipers lets the look down a bit. They would look better silver or black :) other than that...lovely :)

Love RB. Black wheels were stunning but I now prefer anthracite against RB.

Replaced parcel shelf that had some speakers on that didnt sound all that with replacement head unit, local breakers had shelf and now it's in, not the most exciting modification ever but looks nicer in my few.

Pretty much done now week after next belts and stuff being done and I need to sort lowering springs Birchdown going to fit when having the above done.

Next year be strut brace, silver bulbs and some internal LEDs.

Not chrome no not that shiny more polished aluminium so have a grey edge to then rather than a pure mirror finish. Really very pleased with then and work well with silver billets, exhaust badges and towing eye :)

Cars been to Birchdown today, new belts and Dephaser, lowering springs fitted, gearbox oil changed and abs lock ring replaced, feels great on the drive back and little ride out this evening.

This looks MINT! - I love it, especially now you have the Turini's on. What colour are they? (They don't look like the standard silver)

Thanks, they are not standard silver (I'm told) almost shiny aluminium colour :) done at Aerocoat, if its nice later will get a non clean but lowered shot then we can see if there is much different :) as it was a little high before

Good day today at Oulton Park, pretty slippy early on but dried out well.

Lots of fun, good mix of cars, impressed with the Clio good fun, I was pretty tentative on the damp track (which is good as I got to drive home) but once it dried out towards the end of the day the car felt great and nicely planted.

It's been lowered a little now too.
