Decat Help

I have just picked up an exhaust and decat and was advised by stone automotive that fitting a decat is very tricky without a second person to help.

unfortunately I am now going to have to have to attempt this by myself. so was wondering if there was a guide to fitting a 172 decat (did try to search) and any useful tips and tools.

Might be me being silly but can only find the 172-182 manifold guide. Do you need the drop the subframe?

Right I have put the decat on hold as looks like a tricky job. However have fitted the exhaust, although it is meant to be a recessed exhaust. But as you can see from the pics it hangs under the bumper. Looks like the mount in the back box might have been changed at sim point. Any ideas if there is something I need to do to raise it.

Also how much would a local garage charge to fit the decat and any good ones in Berkshire?
