De-cating a 172

is it a big problem to put a decat pipe instead of the cat on the 172 2000, there is only one lambda sensor. and would it be better to put a pipe instead of the middle silencer, or leave the middle silencer.

I decatted my ph2 172... Got a ktec supersport, from the manifold back now.
(hasn't got a centre silencer)

I put a straight through decat from k-Tec on my 172 2000, took it to a garage paid £40. sounds different not much louder and pulls better. I would say do it.
