Clio boot won't open?..

So basically I open the car and the boot button still won't push down and open the boot..

Any ideas or fixes to open it

Boot solenoid

Back seats down, two torx holding boot trim on. Pull off trim and flick plastic lever to open boot

Leave trim off until replace solenoid, or it might be like mine where it just fixed itself after a day!

Ours did this when we first picked it up, pressed the unlock button on centre console a few times and it worked

Think it's where water goes down the button and eventually dries the grease out in the mechanism which slides the locking 'bar' across, I took mine apart (all cogs out etc.) regressed and it worked for several months...eventually it will need a new one!
