Clio 182 rattle/jingle

Hi my 182 recently started making a jingly like sound from under the bonnet.
Where the noise comes from is pretty deceiving as it sounds like it's coming from behind the driver side wheel, but it also sounds like it's coming from the top of the engine. It stays the same sound when I rev it above 2k. Strangely I took it for a wee 3 mile drive giving it a bit of abuse and when I returned there was no noise!
It was idling perfect. Anyone got any ideas? I'm scratching my head here!

Next time it makes the noise, rest your foot on the clutch pedal to see if the noise changes tone or goes away.

I had the same problem on my Clio and was the clutch release bearing. The bearing was noisy until i drove the car and it warmed up a bit.
