clio 172 cup

im looking to sell up on my impreza after the winter and looking for a 53 plate or an 04 plate 172 cup (standard with lowish miles) and was just wondering is there any common faults on these models, and anything worth looking out for? cheers

Engine mounts / Gearbox mounts seem very common.

lol what happens to the immobilisers? and yeah i have heard about the mounts seem to crack and sometimes snap, im sure k tec sell uprated ones i am led to believe

Make sure it has had the likes of Cambelt, aux belts including tensioners and hopefully a new dephaser pulley done at scheduled intervals with proper itemised reciepts to prove as this is pretty expensive work. Also make sure everything works as it should as there are some common electrical gremlins.
