Be interested to see your findings on the nankangs mate. Will be trying the rsrs at Oulton next month

Clio is fit and healthy again after the last trackday misfire, but also found a loose fitting -ve battery terminal so changed that. Also my RC6 pads arrived today, can't wait to give them a roasting on the 24th, where I'lll also be trying the NS-2R tyres I have waiting to be fitted :fearscream:

Ordered a 520mm x 85mm plate with the excuse of making sure the oil cooler has max airflow :tongueclosed:

Just noticed that your pedals all look the same height? Is that normal? I swear my accelerator oedal is much lower than the brake.

Mines lower. I've not looked into it but I'd prefer the accelerator pedal to be a tad higher

:fearscream:
That white spoiler looks really bad. Have you ever done a track day with the Evo?

Everyone loves my white bits lol! It's a track car, more white bits to come along with some advertising. Get ready to hate it more :fearscream: :tonguewink:

The 10 has a 10k engine/turbo build, Advan Racing wheels that cost three times more than my Clio and is hugely expensive to buy parts for, it's my road car, I couldn't afford to fix it if it went wrong on track no matter how tempted I've been, that's what the Clio does best

Hi. Can I have you centre section please

Mark does he sell just the centre pipe

Oi, hands off! :tonguewink: I've a lovely 'Devil' one here for you I just removed :dizzy:
I'll certainly ask if he has others

Just had 2 888s fitted ready when I kill the Nankangs, which I'm impressed with although didn't do much on them. I've never used 888s so looking forward to roasting them:smile:

Ah ok. I'm only after a centre tbh. Bloody Ats manager next door to my work has a nephew with a Clio and was selling a cat back. Great, how much? £30. I will take it :). Then tells me he sold it for a tenner locally, ffs :(

Couple of very minor updates before tomorrows track day, wether permitting as it's not a good forecast over the circuit 😧

Flocked mirror interior covers and A pillars, as a test to see what the quality is like. Actually very difficult to take pics of them with a phone!

Some laps from my 1st trackday in the rain, just pretend you didn't hear the embarrassing 'whoohoo' when the MX5 went off in front of me and I locked up, I was enjoying myself, not the fastest way round, struggled on the NS-2Rs but the most fun I've had there
Gopro mount seems to be buzzing at high revs in the vids, couldn't hear it in the car......

I set myself a target of doing the infamous Debtors corner (left hander after start/finish line) absolutely flat when it eased a bit, Nankangs saw me right.....

Was thinking of ordering me some nankang ns2's for on the road. Are they ok? Obiousley you had the ns2r version on, but as a brand were they decent? £36 a corner at the moment.

I really don't know about the NS-2s, but the Rs are very good, plenty of grip for a semi slick in the wet too. I'd thought I'd made a mistake buying the 180 compound, happy I did now. The only negative for those who use them on the road is that they're very noisy over some surfaces but doesn't bother me :)

So you used the NS-2R 180 compound (Harder), any reason why you didn't go for the 120 (medium)? Guessing the 120c would be better suited to wet weather use.

How did you wear them down was that in one day or was that a different set of tyres (pictured above).

The worn tyre pic is from my old RS-Rs, the 180 NS-2Rs still look great, pic below. I got them at the right price, £104 for a pair delivered so took a punt, I'm happy with them, was considering keeping them aside to use for wet weather as I have some 888s to try too, but they were up there with RS-Rs in the dry sessions I had, they do squeal a lot though

NS-2Rs after one track day, 5 x 20 min sessions, 2 dry 3 wet :)
