Doubtful, already did this on my mk2 golf racecar with dubious electrics when the same happened to that a year or two ago.. however Ill slap in some L.e.d lights I just found in the drawer instead, should help and look better... hopefully will get the m.o.t sorted as its expired..

I fitted the red ones too with some silicone around them and a few cable ties, only lasted afew weeks before the mounts fell out the holes abit and the exhaust sagged again, now I've re-done them with lots of cable ties! all good and best the exhaust has ever been positioned.

not cambridge but the guys behind a14 tyres in bury st edmunds do custom exhausts and they are quite good. plenty of aftermarket exhausts about though...

where are you based might help. maybe do a few of the bits and find a different m.o.t station!

new tie rods both sides so easy it was ridiculous, also crash codes deleted from airbag ecu so no more airbag/serv lights yey!

91000 for my 182, not many original parts left on the car now apart from the front shocks and engine! however I replaced the drivers side tie-rod today and it looked like it was the one that it left the factory with. Another part bites the dust

For people that do a search in the future and find this thread... Yes a 182 will still run without the airbag module connected. Just disconnected the earth on the battery, exposed and disconnected the airbag module, reattached battery earth and she started up just fine. Sent ECU off to have...
