Pretty sure that from what I've read in this and other posts that it's not uch related and it's down to water in the alarm. Only time will tell.

Mine was fine and the alarm sounded for ages when I removed it. Two of the wires on the plug are exposed a bit so gonna dry them out a but then insulate them and try again.

I know I'm dragging up an old thread but had this issue on my 182 today have disconnected alarm and hazards have finally stopped. But what do I do next is it worth trying to dry out the alarm and reinstall it with some sort of extra sealing? Or just leave it unplugged Thanks Pete

Only did the Aux belt so used a jubilee and snapon belt tool thingy. mananged to torque them all up albeit with lots of swearing and moving engine up and down on a jack.

How much would I be looking at to respray my front bumper? There is no damage just some paint lifting below the lower grille. Ideally looking at dropping the bumper off at a bodyshop minus fogs grilles etc. Thanks Pete

The lower end of the 197 is the top end of my budget. Would prefer a low mileage 182 and then have some cash for a few mods. The titanium one above looks good but a bit of a trek for me and the one in Cheshire is way too far. Think I might have to be patient :(

Whereabouts was this as i looked at 182 in Newmarket and they had a Cup up for £3995 that the salesman said they were using as a runaround and from what i saw of it only one of the tyres had anywhere near enough air in it and it would easily have won the dirtiest car thread

I thought the Clio's only had front arb's that's why people for the likes of the whiteline arb?

Sorry for my ignorance but does this mean it's simply a case of removing shock and spring from car and carefully undoing top nut?
