I've got a set of 15" steels for winter, annoys me that the hub gets exposed and rusty. Anyone know where I can get some centre caps preferably in black?
MOT failed on corroded rear lines on the part that comes directly off the caliper and is bonded on to another line. From what he said I don't think this is the part that would be replaced by braided lines but I'm not sure?
I love the 335i so much, it is absolutely my next car. Brilliant mix of looks, handling and power while still sensible-ish running costs. I would have to have a hell of a lot more cash floating around before I saw any value in having an M3 over a 335i as a road car.
Re: Powerflex bushes from K-Tec no choices for difference between cup and non cup siz
They didn't get in touch to ask what size I was after but it's the 23mm that have turned up so all is fine.

I notice K-Tec don't have the option to choose between the cup and non cup size powerflex bushes like Kam Racing do. Safe to assume K-Tec are selling the cup size bushes?
Re: Any point in replacing ball joints, track rods+ends when putting on powerflex bus
Could do some of it but sounds like a pain in the arse to push in new bushes and if I get stuck getting a bolt out I don't really have the equipment (or skill!) to deal with it. Also have a friendly local...
Re: Any point in replacing ball joints, track rods+ends when putting on powerflex bus
I'm sold on doing ball joints. Just not sure on benefit of track rods and ends though, be another £100 odd quid + labour?
Re: Any point in replacing ball joints, track rods+ends when putting on powerflex bus
Do you mean nope don't bother with the ball joints etc or you mean you did everything and it made a big difference?
Car is 05 plate with 45k. As far as I know still on original engine mounts, suspension parts and bushes.
Got a bit of an occasional knock on lift off of hard acceleration and can knock itself out of gear under hard acceleration in 1st.
Going to powerflex the dogbone and thought I may aswell...
I know it will look a lot better if I Tcut off the red paint but it's still going to leave a gouge out of the paint that I want fixed since it wasn't my fault. Going to go see a couple of bodyshops see what they say, wanted some thoughts first though.
Does it need a respray of the whole bumper to match properly or can it be partly done, there's also some similar damage right on the edge of the wheelarch that isn't in this pic.
I considered smart repair but consensus seems to be they will be crap? Neighbour that did it is paying but not...
This is one of those questions that works because of the way its worded. Sure Lego make the most amount of tyres each year but they don't make tyres that are used in any form of real transportation or that have to meet any sort of regulations.
My approach was apply brute force to the hangers till the tailpipes hung in the right place. Not the perfect solution as looking along underneath I think the centre section looks slightly twisted to one side but it sits 95% in the correct way, doesn't leak and doesn't knock so I'm not fiddling...
Thanks, I'm just not 100% if it actually needs changed or not. I looked at the rstuner live graph for the first 90 secs after turning it on but I don't know what a nornal reading would be.
Got the Front O2 sensor fault DF0092, DF0967 I reset it the other week but it came back. I'm assuming it does need replaced then but I just want to check the "front" sensor is the one at the front of the car before the cat?
Also what are the symptoms, anything I should be noticing? I do a lot...
After 10 mins of confusion and calculation I can't make sense of that. I assume the F/R at the end denotes that 3.19 is for the front and 5.65 for the rear for cup springs.
daNM/mm is deca newton metres which just means x10 so 31.9NM/mm for the front and 56.5NM/mm for the rear but that would be...
Re: Why is my dealer asking for about £85+vat for front springs? Shouldn't they be l
Eibach Pro Kit being ordered as I type! Not interested in lowering it just want something that will be at least as good to drive as oem and the 5 year guarantee sounds like a bonus.
Re: Why is my dealer asking for about £85+vat for front springs? Shouldn't they be l
That's annoying my springs broke after the change. I'm cheaper to buy an entire Eibach kit than 2 genuine fronts then!
From the details when connecting I have found I am running software version 8200 and calibration version 7804 which must be at least 18 months old.
The website doesn't have the range of maps listed like it used to so I don't know how out of date mine is. Is there a newer version and if there...
My dad is 64 and has only had his 182 for a couple of years and he loves it. Whether you're 18 or 70 if you like cars you like cars and you will drive something fun, what others think is irrelevant.
We could settle it if someone who has had steels on from the factory could take a photo of their nuts (wheel nuts only thanks :)) to compare to the ones that come with alloys
