Was going to just give under the bonnet a wipe over prior to FCS.
But instead.......
Removed the fuel rail guard, give it a layer or 3 of high temp paint.
Masked up the inlet, gave that a lick of the same.
Wet and dried, then polished, the raised Renaultsport logo.
....my Skoda splitter is finally on. Fitted it today.
Umm, of course I mean the splitter was sitting in a box, not me :)
Pics are a bit naff. Had to lighten them in photoshop so that you can actually see the splitter.
Not sure if they'll be of any use, but the pics at the end, of the splitter...
Well, let's face it, everyone but me hated them :)
I wasn't sure about anthracite diamonds, even up to the point of them arriving in the post. But they're growing on me. And they're more 'grown up'.
Few pics of my headlights being corrected, taken this weekend, before, during and after. They'd got quite rotten, over nearly 8 years and 88, 000 miles.
HUGE thanks to -J- for taking the time to do them for me.
....and out with most of the yellow :)
A 3 hour clean and removal of most of the 'nasty' yellow bits from the rear. Sorry, but the front are rear diamonds WILL be staying yellow :rasp:
Before
After
Much better. N I'm still loving my 2118's :)
So it's coming up to my Clio's 7th birthday.
Hmm, what to get it as a present...? :D
So I settled on....
A set of 7x15 Speedline 2118's, wrapped in 195/50 Hankook V12 EVO's.
Fitted this morning. Was waiting for the sun to come out, to take pics, but I can't wait til August :D
I love them...
Okay, I know many won't like it, but (for now) I've added the last bits of yellow to my 182.
The painted bits are exactly the shade I wanted, though I am aware they're a slightly different yellow to the stickers.
Oh, and I gave the car a bloomin good clean too :)
Morning all.
Had to get my front diamond repainted this week after it took a boulder hit right between the eyes. Decided to have the wheel diamonds done to match.
And....thanks to the remarkable talents of Ady182 (big thanks again) replaced the Renault and Sport badges with stickery yellowness...
Actually, first 'proper' clean since...October.
Couldn't make the Donington meet today, as overslept...until gone 10am :( (sorry chaps).
So instead, once I was properly awake, de-tarred, washed (with my new Chemical Guys stuff) and FK'd the Clio.
Bought a K-Tec Racing Ultra Performance Supersports exhaust and had it fitted ooh, about 4 months ago.
Chap that fitted it said it was the best made (fit wise) he'd ever put on.
I've not put pics up til now though, as once on, because the tailpipes are ever so slightly un-parallel, the right one...
...more yellow :)
Had the dash trim pieces, the gearknob insert and the steering wheel insert painted titanium to match the car this week.
Then got replacement stickers for the bits from Ady182 in...yellow, of course.
Had the front wheels off today to fit new pads.
Got the Hammerite out and did the calipers while I was about it.
Then had the rears off to paint them too.
...on K-Tec 30mm springs.
Went down to K-Tec last week to get the car lowered. Brilliant service. Decent price. And the 30mm springs do exactly what they say on the tin :)
Measured up to where the front bumper and splitter meet, before and after
Noticeably lower, better stance and smaller...
Got home and found my ClioSPORT sticker had arrived in the post. Just been out n stuck it in.
and then found my RS Tuner turned up today too. Yippee!! :)
Was up early again today. washed n waxed the outside. Hoovered n cleaned everything inside.
Then decided to wipe over under the bonnet.....which turned into an hour or so cleaning everything under there. Then got 1200 grade wet n dry n went over the RenaultSport lettering, then about half hours...
Picked up my Clio 182 FF on Tuesday evening and thought I'd better say hi.
Im Stunty, from Middlesex.
Was up early today giving the car a good scrub. Then took a few pics.
