I'm in Newcastle and seen a 182 down in Birmingham which interests me, I can't get down to see it. Anyone ever bought a car without actually seeing it in person? Or if anyone is in Birmingham area and wants to check it out for me, that would be awesome :)

Yeah thats me. I'm getting it sorted on Tuesday and hopefully this time nothing else will happen. Just got the passenger side door replaced and resprayed cos some clown hit the side of me.

I'm having exactly the same problem with my 182. Its fine once warmed up but a right pain in the arse when its cold.

My 182 is at the bodyshop at the moment after some clown turned as he was reversing out of the space next to me and wiped out my entire passenger side! Gutted. Whats more devastating is I have a 1litre Kia Picanto as my courtesy car! HAPPY DAYS! Getting it back on Tuesday though.

I'm putting the Sportlines on mine in a couple of weeks. Bout £200 for mine too, I haven't got time to fit them myself so taking the easy way out and just throwing money at it.

I reckon your right and i think i'm just gonna stay pretty much standard to be honest. The 182 is quick enough and I can use that money in better areas. I appreciate all the advise, its always good to know there is help available.

Sadly i'd probably agree with you. I just love the sound. Suspension is on the way next week, wheels and tyres in a couple weeks and brakes fairly soon as well so I cant complain too much.

Not a simple job then? I've seen and heard cars have this done and they sound amazing. Just what my 182 needs I think but its whether i can afford it or not which is the problem.

I've seen a lot of people mention ITB but I don't know much about them. What do throttle bodies do and what will I benefit from? Probably most importantly, what do they cost?

I reckon thats about right. Good mileage for a 52. I paid £7500 for my 04 182 with 37000. The steering wheel is a problem i've seen before, easy enough to get a replacement, people are always selling.

I agree about AAS. Supposed to do a wicked system but the waiting list is quite long. I needed to get one quickly so got mine made in Ashington at Tints N Tweaks. Gives a decent note withouot being stupidly loud.

Was thinking about coilovers but decided just to go for the springs instead. The brakes sound like a good idea and a remap may be on the cards as well I think.

I have a 182 which has induction kit and custom exhaust. Apart from this, its standard. I have about £800 spare at the moment and wondering what are the best things to do with this budget to improve the performance. Ideas would be appreciated.

Saw it in MetroCentre car park bout 4 o'clock yesterday. Private plate ** HUE. Anybody claiming it? Put my fairly standard 182 to shame. (At the moment anyway)

I've just got a custom exhaust made but was wondering whether it worth getting Decat fitted as well. What are the pro's and con's of doing it?
