Then why when a car is parked, and you want to perhaps change the wheel position, do you put the key in the ignition and turn it to "on" in order for the steering to lighten up so you may turn the wheels? Surly after the car has cut out, and the key is put back to the "on" position, the steering...

Ah right. Would this still be the case if the engine had cut out, I had turned the ignition off completely, and then turned the ignition back on with the steering and the brakes still being stiff?

I bought a set of goodridge for my ph1. backs went on fine but for some reason I could not get the fronts to fit. The end attachment just would not go onto the thread, must be out by like half a mill or something. Really annoying

yep sounds like leads, replace them first and then the coilpack if need be

Had mine for about two years now, and they are in pretty good nic, no signs of rust yet, tho I just tried to adjust them, and they are pretty stiff. I remember when they were fitted that the guys did not put the protection spray on, and I seem to have lost it. Is there anything that works...

Ye its confusing. oh well lol havent tried yet. Dropped a socket bit into the engine bay, had to jack it to get under and look properly, and while up, I decided to paint my calipers, so the car is wheels off at the moment :)

got it out. what a mission. a bolt on the bottom left, top left and top right, and a clip thing in the middle of the ecu plug that you push in to get the plug out. Still have no idea what the random plug is for?

damn what a mission.. Please have a look at the pic is the red the ecu and that the hell is the green arrow pointing at because it had nothing plugged into it. And HOW do I get the airbag ecu out!! Help please :(
