It feels quicker than my 172 which had a few mods: Ktec Stealth exhaust, matched inlets, ITG panel filter and a RS Tuner remap.
The BM will do 0-60 in 6.5 seconds. But it's the way it does it. It feels effortless compared to a 172. In the Clio it felt like a shuttle on re-entry!
It isn't...
Thanks for the comments everyone!
It's on 99k with full BMW service history and only 2 previous owners. But certainly doesn't feel like a car with 99k. Still feels tight, and pulls like a train! Cost me £5750.
I'm getting about 27mpg at the moment, and I have been putting my foot...
That's sweet mate! Just bought my first BMW on Saturday, an E46 330Ci Sport!
Looks just like yours!

After selling my 172 a couple of weeks ago, I picked this up on Saturday!
- E46 330Ci Sport
- 3 litre straight six
- 230 BHP
- Full black leather
Best car I've bought or driven. In a completely different league to the Clio! :o
Thought I would take advantage of the good weather this weekend and give the motor a damn good clean! :D
Removed a shed load of road tar and general crap from the paintwork and the result was worthy of a few photos. Don't think it has ever been this clean since I've owned it, which is three...
Certainly did!
Stealth is a great exhaust. Will sound quite "raspy" when new. But give it a while and it will sound nice and deep, without being too chavy. I've had mine for about 2 years now and it sounds great! I have had the centre section replaced twice under warranty though! Just got...
I had to have a complete engine replacement, after this happened!
I wasn't even pushing particulary hard. It let go at about 6,000rpm on the way to work about 8 weeks ago. :S
It doesn't look that bad!
Yeh, got it back on the 25th Aug. Just after the meet up, which is why I couldn't make it. Could have come in the Birchdown van though!
Cars running sweet. Just don't want to push it too hard. Can't afford another major disaster like that again!
Not sure to be honest!
It's on H&R coilovers. Lowered all the way on the rear, and lowered just enough on the front so the tyres don't catch the arch linners when cornering hard!
Measured the distance of the cup splitter of the ground and I've got 4.5in of clearance. A speed bump is about...
Yeh, it's the clamp on the centre section. It's a Ktec stealth. Sitting a bit low, but doesn't catch on anything such as speed bumps. It must be close though!
