I have tried hitting a flat blade screwdriver into it (as it has a solid resin core) and then turning that....No luck :( It does seem stuck..

I neede to replace this on my 1994 1.8 RSi.... Got the old one out no worries, when replacing with new I got carried away and snapped the bloody thing off flush with the block :( Any ideas/help with removing it so i can try again ???? Thanks Keith.....

So a new one of these will sort my problem then ? Struggling to see how a water temp sensor makes the car stall when the throttle is depressed, and why would it work after a few attempts (the water doesnt get any warmer:S ) Confused :S:S

Its not that intermitant, its every time its cold... I thought it might be some sort of choke thing, but its injected so i was told it wasnt that :S

I am having a fookin nightmare with my RSi at the moment:mad: It starts fine but the moment you depress the accelerator it stalls :dapprove: After a few attempts it does eventually get going, this is baffling me :S It does this when its been left for a few hours, starts and goes fine if only...

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Next time i want to do something to it, i will give you a call, to see if it meets your approval ;) Mileage is 85,000 No more plans, its the Mrs work runner till i get something a little/lot quicker :cool:

I have had no end of problems with my coolant system since having the coolant changed :( The latest one being the engine oil cooler.... It has rusted through the inlet and outlet pipes :( I have by-passed it for now, but was wondering how important it is, as a local Renault guy has said he has...

Heres my last car..... Now the RSi

Mine is dropped 35mm at the front and 55/65mm at the back, with that and a 2 1/2" Stainless Zorst right through, it does catch the bumps :(:(

Going to go with Anthricite on mine ;) Colour coding the side bump strips and door handles makes a difference :cool:

Have thought about getting it welded/brazzed, but i have found another small hole in it now, so how long before another hole appears somewhere else:dapprove: I am in the building industry and have also thought about replacing the part completly with copper pipe or even plastic push fit ;) Will...

The part the guy ordered was the wrong one :dapprove: Have gone into Renault (Taunton) today with the part and the guy says he cant find a parts number for that bit (as you said Brian), he is going to try to sort it out in the morning (fingers crossed)

The coolant was changed on Tuesday this week :dapprove: My top rad hose sucks in (completly over 5,000rpm) have been told its just old and needs replacing (£40 from Renault:dapprove:) Would this be due to the system being blocked up and in need of a proper flush ????? And how do i do a proper...
