yes and no depends how careful you are, have you tried hitting it with a chisel to crack it off the use the tool to undo it. oh and get a new one from renault for when you do get it out!"
be careful just sticking any old coolant in mate, as the seals are designed to use one type, some types corrode the seals, tho tbh i cant remember what colours are safe to mix.
oh and nice car mate, good work!
lol, i ment the permenant live to the HU, not the amp, as if its connected to the cars harness alpine are very fussy and sometimes cut out if the draw is too big from all the systems its running
have you wired the permenant live on the alpine to the battery, as theyr all ment to be, but no one ever does, and as for sub cutting out too much gain and probs best to run the remote wire from a constant live not the blue off the HU, as this will give it more power, or rather a constant power
surely you wouldnt use the standard inlet on a SC conversion, it'd be from the outlet of the SC straight into the 4 branches? thats if its not been IC'd first.
i cant honestly believe someone is daft enough to: -
a) ask a dealers parts personnel to get parts for a car, i know of two who know what theyre doing out of all the dealers i deal with on a day to day basis, the rest are about as much use as a chocolate hammer, and
b) order parts from a...

1) would be pointless to chrome the head,
2)most of the stuff in the head is either friction fit or damn near it, with mating faces having to be exact, and
3) you cant see ,most of the head when all the bits i.e. manifolds and that are attached...
sitck a screwdriver thru it, and as your supposed to put the new one on by hand anyways no probs there! you dont need the old filter so no problem in wrecking it
as above, one set of each
