now before anyone starts the not worth it, too much work usual crap, im not thinking about doing this and looking for advice, im just more interested in the technical side of things as it seems quite an interesting conversion for the future.
recently as 172 engines came down in price people...
ive said it years ago and ive just driven my 172 with 15" wheels for the first time, and oh my god no wonder the mk1 172 is the most fun! so much more feedback from them you can really feel yourself getting to the limit, slightly less grip but thats expected with the width you can really throw...

you on here? I was in the silver 172, was your 182 standard, was quick if it was lol i was only starting to very very slowly gain after about 140 erm mpg!

do they do service exhange on them?
on ebay, selling due to selling the car, only fitted last month, fit 1.2, 1.4, 1.6 and dci models!

what could cause a clio 172 to wander over the road? its happening on full throttle under hard acceleration, its not torque steer as its not a thing its done untill recently. so far ive tried...

full guide with plenty pics comeing when its done. its getting an uprated clutch, new flywheel (the reason its getting stripped), 2 ARB drop links and new dampers all round along with a few wee other silly bits here n there!
since they use similar gearboxes do the 172 clutches fit the dci clios? the flywheel is gone on my dci so changing the clutch while am at it and want to use an uprated one for mapping but can only find 172 ones?
hi guys got a wee question about car insurance, here we go...
ive got 2 cars, clio 172 and clio dci. my dci is my winter car i run during the winter and when the better weather comes i run my 172, so ive only ever got one car insured at a time.
my 172 now needs serviced and i need to drive...
as title is there any worth while cams that can be mapped to run on the standard ecu, dont want to spend a fortune to run standalone management but would be a nice adition to finish off my build and push it over 200bhp
opinions and options?!
DCI CLIOS ONLY!!! not interested in normal non RS clios as ive fitted loads of different kits and saw how they look, im only interested in dci's

as title, discuss! tyres in question would be Eagle F1's ive always used 195/45/16 but considering 205 to see the difference, im assuming i can run them no problem on standard 172 wheels?
anyone ever heard of a standard ecu 172 doing this? it was poping flames when i lifted off on the limiter in 5th yesterday?

well thats me got it back from paint and oh my god what a job!! a massive thanks is owed to Colin @ Car N Bike in Bonnybridge its a 100% perfect job as usual which is hard to find sometimes these days!
anyway was in getting the new rear bumper painted and the cup spoiler done too...
what size is the gearbox on them, and will it fit in the engine bay of a clio or is it same size or same box as the RS meganes?

hi guys and girls, got a wee issue with the dci, every time i brake i get the light under the fuel light (sorry dont know what its called!) poping on then when i come off the brakes it goes off, if i come straight off the brakes and onto the accelerator the light doesnt go off untill i come off...
anyone know of anyone that makes lower subframes for the standard 172 seats or anyone think of any ideas to make some up? had a shot of a mates civic tonight and felt like driving a van when i got back in! i like oem seats though so fancy some lower subframes!
need a few prices for the following to save me phoning up in the morning.
