Great updates again, this really is coming on rather well!

Nice result on the tyre as said above, can only imagine the frustration when you saw that!!

Thanks as always mate, it is taking shape nicks now :)
Yes tyre was a bitter sweet moment, ended up only losing a tenner for fitting in the end so not bad.

Looks lovely mate. Can’t wait to buy it when you’ve fixed it up for me haha [emoji23]

Tell me about it with the exhaust!! I've the same problem with my Milltek, had it fitted brand new, went wonky on one side......... had it re-aligned, job done..... now its moved a little again!! Just enough for me to notice 🙈

Nice touch with the tool bag, these are the little oem touches I like!

That'll be next week then...! :)

You know me very well mate :) I really want a decent phase 1 172 in sunflower yellow - I have looked at 2 so far and both been dogs.

Thanks buddy. Yes these exhausts do my head in, the trophy needs slightly realigning again!
Yes the small oem touches make all the difference:)

Cracking updates @mossyv6

Where did you get the Sachs done at? Think my brothers need doing thats all

Thanks mate.

Sachs were rebuilt a couple of years ago but hardly any mileage so still going strong internally but externally didn't look good so sanded them down and gave a few coats of silver hammerite.
Main issue was finding replacement gaiters as you can't get them and mind were split. I ended up using cut down MG steering rack gaiters.

No bother, just helping my brother look at options for his trophy. Fronts need doing so will start ringing round

For a rebuild of the front Sachs you have 2 options mate.
1. BG Motorsport.
2. Cornering Force.
Both have good reviews but it seems Cornering Force are a little cheaper.
There was a chap on Clio trophy doing them and doing a cracking job but I think he has stopped now :( due to other work pressure.

@OssPoop has told me about your impressive collection but somehow I've never read your thread fully.

Just read from start to finish and wow, all I can say is epic! You do more work on your collection than I do on just my one 182!!

Loved the LY 200 but I think the SG is my favourite. Gutted I was on holiday for SCITP so couldn't see it.

Thanks for the kind words buddy  the Storm is a lovely and very lively car  will have to catch up at another local meet

:fearscream::fearscream:

That engine bay looks awesome!! Nice touch with the bottle too, just had mine done too as had gone all discoloured!

Is that type-d you have in there out of interest? Green! Had my coolant changed when the car was at Engine Dynamics and the pinky red stuff got put in again which is what I had before. Unsure of the difference!

Thanks Steve, changing the coolant pot was a spear of the moment thing as putting it all back together and thought it just didn't look right/clean - onto Euro Car Parts website and one in stock for a tenner and just up the road from me :)
Yes it's Type D coolant from Renault - love the colour of this stuff :) I was really careful when changing it/flushing it through so I didn't discolour it with old brown coolant. I therefore pinched @bloke method with the dishwasher tablet and did a few laps of the village to flush it through :)

@Willliams this was what I was putting back together when you text me, lol. Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday :) what time do we need to be there? I'm 3 hours away from Brooklands according to AA route planner.

Interior spruce up.
Bought one of the lint removers, I was always a bit of sceptic but it worked really well and de-bobbled the chairs brilliantly

That really does look very fresh and tidy..... good work with the bobbles too, have bought myself one of those a while back but keep forgetting to use it when the car is out lol!

Looks great and clean.

The only thing that bugs me is the washer blanks not being colour coded.

It shouldn't have blamed on it due to it having xenon a but the washer jets are just ugly and didn't work anyway. 182's don't colour code the blanks it was only the 172 cups.

It really works spot on and makes the seats look great. I was going to source a mint seat but not much of an urgency anymore :)

Owns 3 show clios and takes the daily to show off:tearsofjoy:😂

Lol, never thought about it like that - I really need to get the 5 GT done.

That says everything about the condition of just the daily, never mind the rest haha

Thanks Steve - kind words.

Stunning mate

Thanks buddy - trying to keep up with yours ;)

Exactly. I bet the wife's car is a right shed though!

Best thing about it is the wife doesn't even drive.
