It was well over a year or more since i tried it but if i remember correctly it was the connection on the ribbon strip itself that was causing the problem. The mobius is a great camera as echo'ed by everyone else, hope you have more luck than me regarding the lens extension, i never got any reliable footage due to a poor ribbon connection into the circuit board.

I had a similar 'problem' when I changed mine even when I compared the new febi mount to a genuine mount. Once I turned the mount upside down it was clear to see the rubber had sagged. That was the original 100k miles old mount. It eliminated the harsh thud up front on mine.

Sorry only just seen this now, thanks it doesn't scrub up too bad, need to get rid of the swirls as in sunshine like its been yesterday and today they stand out and make it look terrible. Now the splitter is fitted it looks right again, such a small thing but bugs you when its missing.
