Hey all, I have been given a set of 195/45/R16's for my 182 which currently has 205/45/r16's I know what you have all been saying but I drive a bit crazy. Lead footed. Is there chance the tyre will fold when going round corners too hard?
Hello all,
Long story short.... (:o) does anyone have simple instructions on removing the fuel tank on a MK1 172. I have managed to accidently go through the filler pipe with a 8mm drill whilst fitting a roll cage. My fault.. I should have gone slower with the drill..
Also, would the car...
Nop,
I followed the guide on the forum to remove the engine and it didn't mention anything regarding the power steering. The column slide out when taking the engine bay appart because the sub frame was dropped.
Its weird, Also, is there any way of just pulling the whole steering column appart...
Mine did this after i changed engine mounts. Turned out it was the connectors in the column. I could feel them if i slipped my hand in the top. Try pushing hand in there and squeexing them with finger tips. It stopped mine.
Hey all,
Its been a while since ive posted and there doesnt seem to be a decent place for this thread to go so i am slamming it right here.. :)
So, i changed my Gearbox which i mashed up. It was fun, and not for the faint hearted. A f**king ball ache and would some f**ker else to do it unless...
Trust me i will be out soon... Taking engine out tonight then the fun begins :-) of course the hughesdogg way... :-) should be a mental little car when im finished with her.. sure ive seen a few of ur motors about aswell.. :-)
No one? I have spent hours researching and no one seems to have a guide saying how to do it without removing the engine...
Looks like the Engine is coming out.
