    For road use CL Brakes pads are not really the first port of call. The RC5+ would be better as the high iron content in the RC6 will be aggressive on discs when cold and will leave metallic brake dust over the bodywork. The RC5 dont always like winter use either, going from extreme hot to cold...

    AST customer service is one of the worst I have ever experienced. We ordered top mounts in October last year. Took 5 months to get the parts in. Apparently they were in stock. The nuts are s**t too. We are now designing our own as we cannot sell pure motorsport ones as an alternative and sadly...

    its probably a combination of dust and dirt. Other than checking for uneven or excessive wear I would not worry too much

    The springs fit to multiple car models. All spring manufacturers list the maximum drop. This is usually on the lowest spec model.

    TDF do some nice throttle bodies. If you can afford the extra fuel costs drop in a cam at the same time.

    I was expecting the cage to replicate the original. I think it will be a far cry from a proper replica other than it will share the same stickers. Turning out to be a nice track car though.

    There are special chemicals you can get for removing iron filings off paintwork. Not something most people have in the collection though

    for a road car they are not ideal. They will rattle as the backing plate is smaller to allow for expansion under race conditions. The issue with the backing plate we think is due to rapid heating and cooling from normal road use and everyday weather conditions.

    Rear discs and pads

    Its only the renault ones that come with new abs rings. All others will only have bearings pressed in. Worth checking price with Wests Renault on some abs rings so you can work out how much it will cost in a worse case scenario.

    Check a rear shock is not leaking. Also check whether the damper bush has not perished.

    How much camber?

    Eibach camber bolts give about 3 degrees max. Certainly overkill on maximum settings for a daily road car. I'd start with around 1.5-2 degrees as a good balance.
