I'm tempted to join in on this. I have a 4 inch scratch/dent on my front bumper - but I'm arguing Brentwood Council on it at the moment. Is it worth waiting for them or just paying for this guy to do it? I'm guessing he would have paint and all the tools to colour match and blend/polish etc?

Am I right in thinking the cost is going to be around 40 quid per panel for dents and chips etc?

Any ideas about the cost for refurbing an alloy or 2?

I'm going to pop in on my way home from work to ask about Alan's enquiry so i will find out for you mate.. Wont be able to find out until at least 3pm as i finish at 2pm and i have an hours drive !

TBH no. I've been lazy as have been starting work at 5am since last week and tiredness usually gets the better of me

I WILL be popping in today however, I can't check CS at work no more as they have banned it the cnuts so if you need me to ask anything you'll have send a text

Just came off the phone to the chaps doing our day and it is 100% CONFIRMED NOW

They are really looking forward to it as they have never had so many cars turning up in one go lol !

I am going to meet the chap today at about 1pm to CONFIRM prices, Obviously more cars will drive the price lower so please all members wishing to attend please do not blow out as this may affect the final price for people actually turning up

@ Alan they will do your stone chip and Ronnie they will do yours fine, Iam taking my laptop so will be showing them the volume of cars and also the list of work,

Tea and coffee etc is being provided for us and for food there is a pub 5 mins up the road so weare sorted in that depatment

Cat171 is aware as i have spoken to him and when i have been to the premises i will update again

REMEMBER IF YOUR NAME IS ON THE LIST PLEASE TURN UP

Right update time

Yesterday after my Tesco's failure i popped into the workshop that will be carrying out our de-dent day, The workshop is fantastic ! they have spray booths, alloy refurb booths, car lifts etc, All work is carried out by technicians that have been in the industry for many years, I met a couple of the chaps that will be there on the day and i also got to see the standard of there work which needless to say is awesome

The guy that me and Craig have been speaking to was not in but i spoke with another chap and they have said there will be a discount to be had, I reckon we can get it down to £25-30 a panel at a guess but i will go back in on Monday and confirm this.

They carry out every repair imagineable from Interior, exterior, to machine polishing !

They have asked for the cars to be cleaned but don't expect "show clean", they have a jetwash and are happy for us to use this providing the owner cleans his/her car

Tea/Coffee will be provided for us and they have a luxury lounge for us to chat away in or we can go outside as the views are amazing

Please people if you are interested make sure your name is down and you turn up

Saturday 12th December 9am onwards !!

I'm up for this. I'm getting nowhere with the Council on my claim against them, grrr. Location of where it is tho please? Post code etc

@ RDP this is being done in Farbrough village, Shire lane. The postcode for satnav will takes you mile off as shire lane is very long !

I'm thinking my house is 5 mins away and at then end of my lane is a car park, If we all meet for there at 8:45 we can all go down together that we we all get there together and no one gets lost

My post code is BR2 6DJ - Ashmore lane

All meet in the car park at the end of my lane, How's that ??

A quick Q on behalf of all who attend really, are they going to be OK taking card, or are they expecting cash only as its a "mates rate" day? If so we'll need to make sure we have a firm idea of what work we are going to let them loose on before we show up.

I'm pretty sure all work is guaranteed for a "minumum" of 12months but i'll check tomorrow, This is a reputeable company so i doubt no guarantee is offered

Alan has seen the brochure i collected, This place isn't just your usual back street garage, It's fantastic and i'm sure many will be over the moon when they turn up
