Wrote off my 172 cup tonight..

If its just the stub axle thats snapped as above its four bolts to remove it, theres a possibility other things are bent but you could fit the stub axle and take it to a specialist to see if theres anything bent that cant be seen by the naked eye.

Get a 172 cup stub axle tho as they are a different offset iirc.

You will need a new back bumper about £30 second hand and a your rear quatre sorting obviously.

Excellent.. Any idea where i can order the correct stub axel online?

Also how do i go about getting rear quarter sorted and how much it might cost? Sorry if these are obvious questions but when it comes to car problrms im clueless.

Couldn't tell you how much that rear quarter would cost but going off previous repairs I'd hazard a guess of £200ish

Year i think it has been repair in the past.. Found out after buying it was write off in 2006.

How much am i looking at to get all body work repaired? Boot lid has a big dent in it too somehow..

It might be worth writing it off depending on how much you like the car, the bodywork wont be cheap, then theres the wheels and probably other marks on the panels.

As Dave said above, check the boot to make sure its not creased.

Based in Scotland.. Ive got a spare alloy in the Boot so thats not a problem. 200 quid for bodywork doesnt seem that bad tbf.

Going off a quick google there the rear beam will cost near 200 quid aswell? Going off first result that came up.

Could strip it down and sell but i dont know where to start.. Got a few mods on that might be worth something eibach springs, ktec stealth exhaust, ktec air filter prob more but not sure off top of my head.. New brakes recently i believe not sure what kind atm.. Also just put 2 toyo t1rs on the front last month

I personally wouldnt fix it on the cheap...

Stub axel, wheel and paint work won't be the end of it I doubt.. you mentioned hitting the front as well?

Just strip it or reshell all the decent parts onto a breaker on here. Theres plenty to choose from!

Or just buy another car

I have a cup bumper you can have for nothing mate but it has 182 style exhaust cut out.part from that its in good condition no paint flaking etc.

Decided im just going to buy a 182. im going to break it down and sell parts so will be posting it all in market place asap.. Prob wont get it all sorted for a while yet tho.
