Whats wrong with your car right now??

Won't have went I get the bill, god knows how much it's going to cost to get the bleedin washers working, it's a real bummer. :-(

Desperatly needs a service
New airbox as clips are snapped
Steering Wheel cowling
Drivers seat stitched as has tab burn
Same with back seat
New cd player
Wheel refurb
Spare tyre fixing
May need water pump soon
Thermostat
Touch up here and there
A damn good clean too

All on a 1.2 and still puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it

Toxic Fume Warning Light constantly on
Broken front splitter
Paint/lacquer coming off the aircon unit on the centre console
Paint/lacquer coming off one of the wheel centre caps
Drivers seatbelt slow to rewind
Going to need a new exhaust very soon (still on the original - car is 8 years old)
Needs a good wash!

Might fix a few of the above soon for the next MOT, the other stuff (cosmetic problems) I will just live with. Going to run the car until it becomes economically not worth it!

It's never ending the more work I do the more faults I'll find...

Not so much whats wrong but the stuff that needs sorting.

Tracking.. track rod ends
Belts/dephaser
Disks/pads all round
Clutch
PAS leak
Needs a map or timing is out.

Booked in for disks/pads braided brake lines brake fluid tracking camber bolts track rod ends and belts/dephaser all next week. Going to rinse me out!!

Going round a corner today and the abs and service light comes on solid... Car cut out 5 seconds later then when i tried starting it started up fine and run fine with no lights??

Shameless bump!!! Where to start?? Probably the aircon resistor packs gone again!! Second biggest worry is the exhaust hangers thats collapsed. One thing after another!

My rear exhaust hanger's f*cker as well, tbqfh it was f*cked 2 days after I bought it.

Then there's the intermittent starting issue, which i'm sure is a knackered relay,
I just haven't got round to sorting it yet.

Also despite everything being polybushed, i'm sure something is knocking around near the gearbox.

Also my airbag light is permanently on, it used to come on every now and again,
but jiggling the passenger seat connectors got rid of it, but that's not working anymore.

Then there's the entire interior that squeaks and rattles, but I don't really notice that anymore,
​stereo drowns it out.

Oh and there's a weird metallic spinning noise that's related to acceleration,
but no one seems to be able to diagnose it.

I think the exhaust might be blowing too.

The constant f**king rattles that are doing my head in.

Airbag light stays on.

Keep going into limp mode, which nobody can diagnose.

The rust that is starting to eat my arches.

Something that knocks when turning left.

Dents where someone vandalised it.

​Front bumper wonky from where someone decided to drive into it. Thats probably it though, for now anyway. :p

Oh are we counting cosmetic damage then?

In that case, all the alloys are curbed to f*ck, every single panel including the roof has at least one pressure dent or scratch,
and the whole inside off the car is covered in dog hair and mud,
the bits that aren't covered in sh*te are covered in dust.

On the plus side the thing corners like a house fly and pins you in your seat when you stamp on the throttle,
​so every cloud......

Runs like a complete bag of s**t till its up to temperature.. Probably normal

alignment is out slightly

bonnet catch is fucked

headlights have misted up even after they were restored

rear fog light bulb on the dash cluster sometimes flickers when lights are on and I touch the brake pedal or indicate left

steering wheel needs new inserts

xenon washers don't work.. Motor makes a noise but no fluid

engine and box mounts are nearly dead

few scratches on bumpers

dents in doors from carparks

Mysterious crease in the roof just past the top of the windscreen

annoying badly repaired damage/slight dent in the d/s rear quarter

budget tyres from the garage I bought it from a month ago... Spoils the car completely

cant shut the drivers door with window down other wise it pops off the runner

slow puncture at the back

clutch pedal feels almost as if it has a dry joint, bit creaky

speedo drops every now and then, probably the sensor



thats it off the top of my head... Doesn't use any oil etc

few little issues but in my month of ownership I've grown to f**king love it n I think it's the b****cks!









Oh yeah and it's a Renault

Changed my washer jets yesterday... still no water coming out :( so guess I'll have to look into it further with the motor etc. hopefully I'll get a chance to do this before the MOT! Also need some new brakes all round basically, but when I get back from holiday they're the first thing on my list.

Rear right wheel bearing case is broken in two and just smushed together

Rear wheels need new spacers to bring them in 5mm so they stop hitting the arches

Exhaust hangers are f**ked

Need some new wiper blades

Headlights in dire need of refurbishment

Engine mounts are on the way out

Airbag light comes on intermittently

Paintwork is in need of correction

New wiper blades are needed

Could be much worse I suppose!
 
The fact that I don't have it, and that its currently sat in a garage with the head off getting a full refurb, clean, and re-skim. As well as finding out how many valves are bent etc. £££.

Steering wheel looks like someones had a blowtorch to it, Exhaust gaitor popped off and where the fan switches are has started to peel and crack
