Had a play around with the exhaust today to eliminate the dreaded drone... this seems to of done the trick. Still stealth...ish, I actually quite like it and sounds really great

Fitted a pro alloy Intercooler kit and got the base map loaded for Paul at RS Tuning to tweak

Braved the cold this afternoon and gave it a wash. Had a day off work and didn't want it to go to waste!

(FYI this was taken in between washing the wheels, and washing the car)

New heater control panel, old one was flaking badly and it was doing my head in. Fiddly job but Woody_xX’s tutorial got me there.

I also put in some new genuine Renaultsport floor matts but I’m sure you’ve all seen them before so no pictures

Yeh just cost me my £75 windscreen excess.

Does insurance look at the old windscreen or they not bothered? Mines got scratches all the way across from wipers and dont know if they would be happy replacing it

They didn't ask any questions at all to be honest. Mine was pretty broken though, so it wasn't a case of changing it just to look pretty.

I haven't, think that recall was before I had this Clio if that makes a difference

They were known to fly open at speed iirc, i wonder if you contact renault they might have it on their system im not sure, it might be worth checking tho so it doesnt happen again.

Had my ph1 mapped at Engine Dynamics on Monday. -

Health check and 'level 1 remap'. A base map was loaded and tweaked from there, chuffed with the results, way more eager than my 182 was.

Rs lower inlet
182 manifold heatwrapped
Ktec decat
Ktec Supersport exhaust
Red Magnecor leads
Replaced a faulty knock sensor before first run was made as fuelling was all over the place.

Before -
167.6 bhp @ 6450rpm
153.8 lbft Torque @ 5500rpm

Then three hours later...
180.7 bhp @ 6450rpm
163.8 lbft Torque @ 5300rpm

Feels great now, smooth, all the way to 7500rpm.
I get the odd crackle and small pop too, really subtle, I love it!

Not so much what I did today but what I did last night - Powerflexed the dogbone, fitted Supersprint stealth catback exhaust, new rear shocks, Cooksport Springs, Whiteline rarb

Pretty productive evening in the garage really.

Not to mention the windscreen I had replaced last Saturday, the 089 gearbox & clutch, front cup wishbones, all front black polybushes for wishbones, ARB, & rack I did at the beginning of November.

And to add insult to injury, Stevie Wonders sister, Laura Fountain, took my drivers door off on Monday.
Banged a straight but imperfect door back on for MOT, hinges not sat right, but I`m going to f**k her Christmas up , if she does not pass on my estimate to her insurers Hastings for a full repair.

She has micropic vision and drives 1.4 Vauxhall, but not reply to my TXT`s.
