UV screen

Is it possible to remove the uv screen from the windscreen, has anyone tried it?

I doubt it very much, would be easier to just replace the screen, I dont think its a film as such.

its not a film think it is inside the glass/the glass itself. Easier to change the screen, why you wanting to do this?

Thanks, thought it was just stuck on the glass. I wanted to remove it as it is interfering with gps signals to the car (the box at the bottom of the screen is no good for me)

it was the same for me, cant you just mount the antenna elsewhere?

Weird Ive had no issues putting my gps in the tray on top of the dash. Will work fine through side or back window tho if you can relocate it.

the special heat reflecting windscreen has a little rectangle at the bottom centre of it which is just plain transparent glass. you could put the antenna etc there?
