When I ordered my 1.4 Dynamique back in 2005 my local dealer let me pick a registration myself from the list.

Dont forget reg or chassis number for me Chris :)

I was going to start my own thread, but figured 17 pages in, I may get more help in here.

What spec do I need?

I was going with Recaro's, Carbon trim, Liquid yellow paint, cup packs, speedlines & cornering lights. Some of the other stuff I'm not sure on what they actually are. Suggestions/help please.

PS - how do I get the keyless entry on the go?

Keyless entry is standard iirc, you need to disable it

Sounds like a good spec :)

Do these have the aux/iPod input as standard or only as part of the Bluetooth kit?

My spec is:

Ultra Red
Cup chassis
Recaros
Speedlines
Carbon dash
Electric folding mirrors
Rear tints
GT spoiler
RS Monitor
Upgraded projector headlights with cornering lights and black surrounds
Bluetooth with iPod connectivity

So everything bar Nav and rear parking sensors. Lol

I'd say that the options that aren't essential (but I like them) are:

Carbon dash
RS monitor
Rear tints
Electric folding mirrors

That said, they only add another £500. So I thought 'balls to it'

Might as well have the exact spec you want.

Yeah - the LY paint is alot of cash £1,300 which really pushes the price up.

Just need to get the Trophy sold really.

Sounds like you've got an awesome spec. The electric wibgmirrors are such an amusing novelty, although I keep forgetting to use them :(

Is the dash carbon wrapped with vinyl or is it a proper job?

Have to say my ideal spec would probably be

Mercury FF
Recaros
Non cup chassis
Black speedlines
Black roof
GT spoiler
Bluetooth + monitor
Rear tints
Yellow interior pack (just cause) lol

Done :)

i only saw the 2 lys and a sunflower being broken.. if any more lys get damaged i think im gonna have to sell up lol!

ive never seen a murcury 200. its similar to iceberg isnt it :dapprove:

Mercury is a real bright silver, it sort of "pops" in the sun,

I was never that much of a fan of my old iceberg v6... Could never get much shine on that colour

although that pic does look ace i cant help but think 'its another silver clio' (im not a fan of silver/black sports orientated cars :eek:)

im sure itd be a different story if i saw one in person :p

Iceberg sucks utter balls. It doesn't know what colour it is. Silver should be clean and bright. Not Blue!

Mercury is super, Nimbus is cool and Titanium is easily the best Silver i've seen. Proper clean and epic flake!

Yes. That's not Silver though.

I actually don't think Iceberg is a bad colour, it's maybe frustration because they stopped one of the best Silvers on the market for a weird Blue Silver collaboration.

If I hadn't gone for Ultra Red it definitely would have been either Nimbus or Mercury.

They're just a bit too subtle for a hot hatch IMO. I needed something fairly lairy after the 182. Lol.

They don't offer the yellow I.d interior pack now mate. All 200's now have a white tacho and red highlights in the cabin.

I used to fap over the thought of fitting a Cup spoiler. Now I've got used to the look of mine as it is...I can't think of anything worse I could do to it.

The Cup spoiler goes against all the RenaultSport 'subtleness' completely.

It looks like it was designed by an autistic chav.

I asked Jeremy on rs the other day about the white rev counter.... If/when I get mine I asked if I could request a yellow rev counter and he said that should be ok. Old interior & shell I guess.

Yellow rev counters are now white.

Yellow stitching on the wheel is now red too.

Personally, I think it looks much better. I was never a fan of the yellow bits.

They were OK if the car was yellow, but I think the white/red change is for the better.
