Hi I'm chris from Glasgow and purchased my trophy in June 2013:)

The car itself is on 52k and is in good nick apart from a couple things cosmetically.

Here she is on the day I got her. Wheels had been refurbed..badly in black as had the front and rear diamonds along with the bullets. Not great but I will be replacing these.

so as I have use of another car at the moment I had some plans for her:

- steering wheel retrim
- new interior trims
- replace various parts ie diamonds etc
- wheel refurb to factory colour
- front and rear bumper painted along with bonnet
- a good detail
- a service (doesn't need one but I'll be doing this for piece of mind)

so I started the ball rolling and started ripping her apart!

also gave the interior a good clean/scrub. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to cars and like them to be mint inside and out

Stuck in an OMP harness too to try it out. I'd also recommend cleaning the seat belts if yours are dirty, really easy and well worth it.

trap them outside and soak them in fairy/apc and scrub them with a toothbrush or equivalent. Mine came up great.

sourced a set of 15 inch steelies off a megane and purchased them for a steal. Prefer the car sitting on wheels rather than axle stands.

some nice fitment!

the turinis are in good nick, the picture doesn't show the poor condition of the paint however. It has gone 'milky' and looks horrible close up

bumpers and wheels etc should be back soon for fitting then she'll be good to go:) can't wait to get her on the back roads. Thanks for reading

cheers mate! You should see the other side! Approximately 20 wheels and more tyres!

Looks lovely! did the paint match up well?

Yeah it's absolutely spot on. Struggle to notice any difference at all, very happy with it

Been plodding away with the trophy. On cold mornings the car was lazy at starting. Decided to get a new battery, big difference!

My boot struts were beggining to fail aswell, makes a big difference getting new ones

Also picked up a couple of vinyls for the front bumper. Hard to picture and awfully fiddly to apply but eventually got them on.

Apart from that I've just been keeping her clean and got her through an MOT last week. Getting around 38mpg which I'm really pleased about and in general she's running well. Recently serviced the car aswell and that seems to have helped:

oil
oil filter
air filter
sparks

also stuck on 2 toyo proxes on the front after the michelins were low. Quite disappointed to be honest, wet performance isn't great and when giving it the beans they don't seem to hold up anywhere near as good as the michelins.

Do you have a part number for the two black vinyl stickers, or did you just cut some of your own from a sheet?

Spent the day giving the car another clean. Started with all the arches, some amount of muck in them. Started off with a general rinse then used an apc to loosen the dirt then scrubbed them down and applied bare bones to the arches to keep them relatively clean. Cleaned out the brakes and the wheels too. Some pics!

Really nice example! Can see this is going to be looked after well... I'm also incredibly jealous :(

Cheers guys. One thing that let's it down is the engine bay, would like to get the inlets all nice and shiny but don't know where to start. Need to get my head out my arse and get it sorted. Apart from that ill just be keeping on top of it maintenance wise and keeping it clean.
