I made brackets to bolt to the car then threaded bar to secure the diffuser
And it buys right up to my axle (but diffrent car you may be as lucky)

Bit of advice - buy a spare bumper to try it on first

How will you be managing the exhaust? Hiding it and angling the tips down or trying to plumb it up to the exits on the diffuser?
this is actually the reason I got this ktec one (think I remember mentioning it to @Richy182. when I picked it up). I'm going to chop the pipes in half and extend them to where they are in my photoshop :) using clamps though not welded so I can move them around a bit.

I think it would look good. If it actually gave downforce too that would be even better.

Does anyone know why the little slat thing on the rear bumper of standard 172/182's isnt cut out? Instead has that little black plastic covering it?

this just occurred to me as a potential idea as well if the top strip ends up looking out of place... think this looks very oe!

The lip on the diffuser should sit nicely with the lip on the bumper.

Are you going to attach it to the bumper or have it removable?

removable. What do you mean by the lip? Im planning to have the bumper on the outside, and this sitting up against it on the inside.

Won't look as good IMO but it's up to you.

Fair enough. Just be aware of the lip that's all, also the "droop" in the middle.

It's not as simple as bolting it on unfortunately

At least the pictures give you a better idea of the actual shape of it anyway

Not sure about tbh, each to their own though..

Looks good in some pictures but weird in others.

I quite like it, would it be possible to have the exhausts in the standard positions on the 182 with the diffuser or is that impossible? It just looks a bit odd seeing a clio with twin rear pipes so far apart

Dont see why not, you'd want to cover the old exhaust cutouts though.
