Im thinking of buying a megs g220. Now ive read up the reviews and everything and its pretty much the same as a pc. But can i use the g220 to wax my car. Would i need a soft pad like a finnasing pad or do i need the microfibre towel insert things. They are microibre clothes with elastic on the top to fit on the disc. Also thinking about getting it from i4detaling as tey pretty cheap.

ive never bothered to wax my car with mine, usually do that stage by hand, i might use it with a liquid wax though and a very soft pad

As brun said, you can do it, but I dont bother, I just do it by hand

Depends on the wax - something like Megs #16 where a thin coat is required then a finishing pad makes life much easier. Most other waxes on my shelf are applied by hand though.

Do it, you'll love it! Although its bloody hard work!

As for waxing, Id always do that by hand.
